Quiet and relaxing stay
My daughter and I stayed there one night on our way to her camp in St.Johnsbury. It was a very relaxing experience. We enjoyed the pool and jaccuzzi very much since no one else was there while we were there around 5-7pm in the evening. We saw many cars parked outside, so there must have been many guests and we did see some children around, too, but the hotel was surprisingly calm and quiet. Only a few minor complaints:The pool area needed some towels(we took some from the fitness center.)The front desk could use a little bit more of friendliness and smiles.Cable TV could use more channels on the new flat screen TV. We didn't mind it was a bit far from the Burlington waterfront. We would stay there again for the good rate, country feel, and quietness.

Short drive from hotel
Church Street in Burlington was pretty, fun, and exciting. Lots of great stores and restaurants!Parking might be a problem if you go there on weekend eve or brunch hours, though. We paid $8 for parking in waterfront area on Sunday morning.

An oasis of tranquility
The purpose of the trip was to visait with our 22 year old grandson in Burlington, Vermont. We were very busy with him and his girlfreind during the day and evening and it was a pleasure for we two older folks to come back to the hotel and its quiet surroundings. Service was excellent, the breakfast adequate, and the hotel accommodation very comfortable. All in all, great hotel, great value.

Burlington visit
Pleasant, but nothing special. Insufficient staff and space for weekend breakfast service. The waitress was very pleasant, though.

Nice and convenient place to stay!
We stayed in the hotel for 5 days and traveled to the Adirondacks and Stowe and Fort Ticonderoga each on different days using the hotel as home base. It was a great location and very friendly staff. They offer a nice cozy bar with fireplace in the evenings and a wonderful breakfast in a nice setting with a fireplace in the mornings. The pool looked very nice although we stayed to busy to enjoy it. We would recommend this hotel - it was great!

Very disappointed!
We travel to Vermont at least three times a year and have stayed in many different Inns,Hotels, etc. and had often stayed at the Marriott residence Inn in the last four years. Because the Couetyard by Marriott is just nexr door we decided to try it for a change and were very dissappointed. Upon arrival we found the room to be a bit cramped and it could have been much cleaner. My daughter has Asthma and I spent the first hour dusting the room while my husband discovered that the remote for the TV did not work, nor did the phone-however the trip to the front desk produced a working remote. Also the site that we looked at before booking, indicated that the breakfast was part of the price and the second day we were presented with a bill. We will not be staying at this location again and we are hoping that this is not indicative of the Marriott's in general as we have come to enjoy the other properties we have stayed at in the past but would not recommend this one.
