Holiday Inn Express White River Jct VT
We have stayed at this hotel in the past because of its location. the only drawback is no pool otherwise it is a excellent hotel with an excellent breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel, if having a pool is not on your priority list.

very convenient, very clean
quiet, clean, well run. Breakfast included, nice business center and gym. Will definitely return Stayed one night for business trip. Close to Dartmouth as well Super close to highway. was a bit confusing to find the hotel lobby entrance just because there are about 3 other roads running along side their driveway and construction when we went there but its a small area so you cant get too lost

My Overnight in White River Junction, VT
Basically just an overnight and breakfast in AM Celebrating wife's 50th year reunion of graduation from Windsor high school. Late check in and early checkout. The only negative as far as my wife was concerned was that there was no heated pool but we were not at the hotel long enough to use a pool anyway. Breakfast was hot and good. No bacon or sausage with eggs.

Great service, clean environment!
I stayed at this hotel while on a college visit with my teenage daughter. The staff was very nice and helpful! The hotel itself was very clean and well maintained. The breakfast wasn't anything special, but it was good for a quick bite to eat in the morning before setting out for the day. I'd recommend this hotel to any other traveler looking for a clean place to stay with a friendly staff.

Great!
Wonderful and friendly service. Large, clean rooms with comfortable beds. The shades on the windows were amazing -- they really kept the bright sun out. Lots of towels.

Great accomodations!
Excellent hotel - very helpful staff, modern furnishings, comfortable bed and a very nice shower! Woodstock is a short 15-20 min drive from the hotel. Not many places to eat near the hotel, especially if you are looking for something more than a continental breakfast.

Highly recommend the Red Rooster at the Woodstock Inn. Amazing food and amazing staff. Be sure to make a reservation using opentable.com as the restaurant is not very big and it fills up quickly.

The Holiday Inn Express in White River Jct, is the best of its type in the area. The suite style room was very spacious and perfect for entertaining a small group of friends and family before going out to dinner.

Short drive from hotel
If you are visiting your Dartmouth student, there are some nice restaurants in Quechee and Norwich, VT (a 10 - 15 minute drive) where you can take them out to dinner.
