University inn
Went for new years eve celebration downtown. We were nervous about staying there because of some other reviews we read, but it wasn't a bad hotel and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Good Enough
Very friendly and personable man at the front desk when we checked in. This hotel is good enough to spend a night or two if you are spending most of your time visiting someone or busy most of the day. Basic, good sized room.

have stayed here before because its close to UVM. This time the hallway carpets were dirty and the hallways reeked of cigarette smoke. Thin walls, party people came back to their rm at 2:00 am and kept us awake until 4:00 am.

Airport lay over
I requested shuttle service to the airport for the next morning for 430am, I was in the lobby at 430 and there was no shuttle until 515am. I was assured by the hotel staff that it was a small airport and there would be no problem catching my flight. I arrived at the airport and had to rush almost missing my flight. The airport shuttle service should not be advertised if it is truly not always available.

very ordinary
the hotel was well located, very close to retaurants and shopping center. that was the only positive side of my stay.one more positive thing, the manager gave me the continental breakfast at another hotel. on there web site they say free breakfast and this is false. the rooms were clean but the decoration was out of date. we decided to go to the pool, it was so cold in the corridors, the pool was freezing and there was missing about 2 feet out water in the pool. the spa was cold, i mean it wasn't at 98* it was about 88*. the sauna was out of order. wow, what a nice valentine's day.

bad deal for your dollar
check in at comfort inn to stay at this hotel, should be considered a motel, no pool cont breakfast and not a whole allot of parking

Great room for the price!!
This was a very last minute trip but definitely worth it. The room was great- high ceilings, HUGE bathtub. Great location, mall was right next to us! Friendly's was in walking distance of hotel. Great amenities- you can use the pools from the comfort Inn while paying the university inn prices.

Disappointing
This hotel was adjacent to another, nicer one. They are owned by the same people and you check in to the same desk but it is like you are a second class citizen at the University Inn. The other guests have a free continental breakfast and wireless internet access while the University Inn guests do not.
