Room had peeling wallpaper, musty, smokey smell despite it being a non-smoking room. Bathroom tiles were broken and falling of in some places. Closet doors were leaning against the side of the closet instead of in the tracks. Sloppy patched holes in the walls. Air conditioner cooled the bathroom but not the room because of location. Windows and some ceiling tiles were moldy.

The Not so clean,
The rooms were not clean, rust was on the light in the bathroom, ceilings and walls needed paint. There were exposed brick walls on the outside.Beds were not in great shape. One of the pictures were off the wall.TV did work but that didn't help. Hotel needed complete updating. Towels were thin and at this point, I didn't go and try their bkf.

Sightseeing tip:
Long walk from hotel
Burlington was fine, the food was great at the walking mall. But the motel was in bad shape for the price. My son and his teammate got a better price for their motel, and if we had the same price we would expect the conditions to be poor but at the rate we pd over $165. is wasn't great deal.

Room For Improvement
My first room had a non-working toilet and light bulbs out. The front desk staff provided a new room right away with no questions asked. My second room had a leak or gap around one of the windows which allowed many flies to enter the room overnight. In fairness, I left very early the following morning and did not inform the front desk of this.

Very clean, for a run down older place.
Older hotel in sore need of physical updating. Desk service excellent, very friendly, and room (especially bathroom) extremely clean. Room had a tired-looking drop ceiling. Difficult to get bathroom sink to turn off all the way. Microwave and small fridge were very nice amenities.

S Burlington Rodeway
The management of the Rodeway is great - very helpful. The Rodeway needs an overhaul - it is out-of-date and while clean it is not appealing.
