Burlington value hotel with free airport shuttle, breakfast and Wi-Fi

Below mediocre
The staff frankly don't care, they don't put much effort into their job. The rooms are barely above run-down status. We found a large (7 inches long) blood stain on our comforter. I rarely care enough to write reviews but this was just bad enough for me to do it. Choose one of the other hotels that are close by and comparable.

Pleasently Surprised
We needed a hotel on a Thursday night - walking distance to Higher Ground venue. We booked that morning, checked in around 6 then walked over to grab a bite and see the show. Check-in was friendly and efficient. Room was clean and one of the nicer rooms we have seen in hotels that claimed to be one str up from this one. Linens were fresh and Bathroom was roomy. Slept just fine. We didn't need to hang out much but for location, convenience, and price we were thoroughly impressed with this little spot. Check-out was quick. - if you are looking for a comfortable stay in a clean hotel, well located near Higher Ground (3 minute walk) then this is the place to go. We will surely book again when we go back for 2 nights and see what that will be like.

Great value
Very comfortable bed and an excellent price/value. Clean enough (and I'm fussy.) Welcomed my dog without a pet fee! Now, that alone was worth staying again for!

be careful with the free airport shuttle
The timing for the airport shuttle leaves something to be desired. The latest pick-up at the airport is 11pm (my delayed flight got in at 12:30 am) and the earliest shuttle to the airport leaves the hotel at 5am (my flight out was at 5:53am) which required me to get a taxi both ways. The heater in my room was also extremely loud and did not automatically shut off.

fair price, convenient location
exceeded expectations. very comfortable and spacious room. quality appointments, nice breakfast, helpful staff. have to drive to get downtown but room price and hotel proximity to other ammenities (starbucks, airport, interstate, etc) more than makes up for it. I would happily stay there again.

natural foods store (Healthy Living) nearby. great place to eat -nice hot bar and prepared foods - if you want to get a quick bite without going into town. nice wine selection too.

smokey smell in non-smoking room
The hotel's location is very convenient to the airport, which is why we choose it. Our non-smoking room had a funny smell, so we opened the window for fresh air. However, the bed covers smelled like smoke, so the outside air didn't help much. The rooms are large, but the entire hotel (especially first floor, where I assume the rooms are smokers' since that hallway was particularly smelly) needs some kind of cleaning. If you are sensitive to smokey smell, this is not the place for you!

Just okay
Bed was very comfortable and room was clean. Room temp okay and quiet. Breakfast okay. Musty odor in hallway was off-putting, and my room was at least at one time a smoking room.Did not like the old eau de tobacco scent. I may have forgotten to indicate non-smoking on my reservation, so it may be partly my fault.

Quiet Enjoyment
The staff were very courteous and understanding. I asked not to be disturbed and everyone honered that request. Everything was very clean and orderly.

Better than the other 2 Star places
This was better than our stay at Quality Inn in Colchester. The room was much more cleaner and the bathrooms were bigger.
