Typical La Quinta - I've stayed in many

This is my second trip to this hotel. Both experiences were excellent. Staff is competent and helpful. Breakfast is ... lacking. I eat healthy and there is a large supermarket 200 feet behind the hotel which is a tremendous benefit for me.

Like I said, "Adequate." Hard boiled eggs and make your own waffles suited me just fine. The walls were so thin I could ... hear the guy next door breathing, I think. Ugh. Anyway, it was ok. I've stayed at much worse that's for sure. For the price, it was really perfect.

The rooms were fine, but no refrigerator, even the cheapest motel usually had refrigerators. What the problem was it was ... noisy. very noisy. Could hear people upstairs crying. Also every time people use the toilets or water it carried. One good thing, they had a shuttle to the airport which was available every 15 minutes in the a.m.

I have stayed here several times and it is very inconsistent from the conditions in the room to the price to the service. ... Also, the rooms are very noisy with adjoining rooms showers, etc..

Have them lock in your price when you make the reservation. They were trying to up my nightly price because the reservation clerk did not lock in the quoted price at the time I made the reservation???? I have never heard of this but if i had not had a copy of my reservation they would have charged me almost $90 more for my room.

For the SAME PRICE as some of the nicer hotels we stayed in on our 6 night trip, this place was a dump. No one thing, just ... everything about the place is bad. They need a total overhaul of the place. From ceiling to floor and everything in between. The employees should be included in the re-do.

We were given a smoking room, which really stunk (literally). When asked to change, were told that the hotel was pretty full, ... and unfortunately Orbitz reservations were usually moved to "the back of the bus". Exact words, no kidding!

We went to a concert next door and it is very convenient for that and the airport. When we checked in however, they said we ... had two rooms booked and I called to confirm that this was not the case with your customer service people who confrimed that we had booked and were charged for one room only. I don't know why this happened but it was not a big deal.

Good value for the money. Room was clean and service good. Soundproofing is not very good - could hear a TV and chatter in ... the next room even with the volume low and unless you take a top floor room be prepared for a lot of clomping and stomping noise.

Nice hotel, but not the right room

The hotel was nice but unfortunately we requested a non-smoking room and non were available..Ended up in a smoking room with ... 2 children...Allergies for the adults did not help the matter with the smoke smell...The hotel staff did try to spray the room but it didn't really work...Will never stay in a smoking room again, no matter if it is the last room available.

The noisy hotel

Good hotel. The picture listed isnt the one, you need to go onto their webpage for the correct one. Other than that, the ... staff was nice,they offered free interent on their computer if you did not have one, the breakfast was ok. The breakfast was waffles, yogurt, bagels,muffins or cereal and for drinks coffee,apple juice, milk or orange juice. The rooms were ok. The shower was small and the room was clean. The three things I wasnt thrilled about was 1) two doors down on the other side was a crying baby I could hear 2) also the shower upstairs being turned on (woke me up out of my sleep),plus the airplanes flying above so the room wasnt sound proof to say the least. 3) The bed was springy. Other than that I would say it was ok but wouldnt go back to it.

motel is right off of 89 and next door to local institution "Al's French Frys". The room itself was not luxurious by any ... means, and I didn't see any "extras" like a pool, but it was neat as a pin and the staff couldn't have been nicer. If you're going to be checking out stuff in the Burlington area, it's a great value
