Quiet hotel in historic Shelburne with free breakfast, Wi-Fi and pool
The Days Inn Shelburne/Burlington hotel is set just off Route 7 on spacious grounds. The budget hotel is located in historic Shelburne, a short drive from Burlington. Amenities include a free Daybreak breakfast, free Wi-Fi and a large outdoor swimming pool surrounded by a green lawn. Rooms are decorated with country flair and include air conditioning, cable TV, hairdryer and free high-speed wireless Internet access. Executive rooms at the Days Inn Shelburne/Burlington hotel boast a microwave and refrigerator. Meeting facilities also are available.

The Grey Man
You get what you pay for.
Assigned a smoking room and at the end of the noisy hallway/staircase after the staff deliberated, indoctrinated new staff, and defined the merit of renting to "flatlanders.". I don't smoke by the way. Nevertheless, I've stayed at worse; Thai hotels, and quickly took to cleaning out the ac/heat unit filters of at least 6 mos of smoke/dirt buildup into the bathtub (your welcome). It was pretty bad BUT I've stayed at worse in the 3rd world., and I was really,,, really tired. Early the next day, at work I was "complimented" on my airs of an "ol' time smoke house." Still can't get the ashtray smell out of my clothes.

Keep your money
Over all this was bad. Breakfast was not good and I ended up going to another place to eat. To top it off the rental car was to be included, yet I am being charged for the rental car.

Poorly managed place and not kids friendly
We requested a baby crib beforehand and doublechecked by calling the hotel. But at site, initially I was told they had one but needed time to locate. Eventually, the lady at the front desk told me that they didn't know where cribs were and possibly missing. The wi-fi didn't work too. The problem with the staff is that they don't try to fix the problem. Instead, they were just sitting behind the desk collecting money. We definitely won't recommend this place to any one.

Upon arrival found large flying bugs in room. Both queen size beds in poor condition. Radio and alarm didn't work. Enjoyed easy access to my car from door in my room to parking lot. Continental breakfast was good!

The hotel was o.k. it was a good place to spend a night or two if you are on busimness or just passing through and need a place for a night or two. Not someplace I would spend a week on vacation but I would definately reccomend this hotel to anyone who, again justm needed a place for a couple of noghts.

It is just a short drive from Burlington whoch is a great city. and a short drive to Williston where you can find any store you could popssibly need or dining you could want.

Nice room, attractive setting
We were happy with the attractiveness of the room, It could have been a little cleaner. There were dust bunnies on the heater. We were concerned that the French doors to the outside, while convenient when loading/unloading luggage from the car could make the room cold during the coldest months, but we were warm and the heavy draperies helped. The breakfast was good. There were juices, fresh fruit, cold cereal,bagels, muffins, toast, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available. The breakfast room was pleasant with tables seating large or small groups, and a lovely fall view of foliage when we were there.

South Burlington/Shelburne
Friendly grounds keeper, housekeeping staff and front desk staff. Continental breakfast is extremely continental. Quiet setting set off of route 7, a main traffic artery. Picturesque back lot and pond with overlooking raised deck in center of building.
