Visited my daughter, Jennifer, at Castleton College. Liked the hotel and its location. No issues!

Mad, bad and dangerous to know... I will not stay here again! They were very 'unfriendly'... Was afraid to walk by the front desk... Was not familiar with the area, but I wasn't going to ask them! I had to ask for toilet paper, when they brought it they knocked once and then just walked into the hotel room! RUDE! I am a quiet person yet the neighboring room called me up to have me turn down the TV! I was watching the news as back ground, not even loud! The walls must be made of the toilet paper they didn't have! Also... Forget the pool, they never took the cover off it! I was very disappointed at that... It would have been nice to go for a dip after a day of skiing... It wasn't closed, just looked like they didn't want to deal with it.. and I wasn't going to ask the 'Men' at the front desk... I also was afraid to take more then one doughnut at the continental breakfast bar... They watch you!

I was pleased with the room and the Bedding was very clean as well as the Bed was soft and comfortable. I was very pleased with the staff and how they made me feel welcome from the Complimentary Breakfast service to the Housekeeping and Front Desk Service. While I know I did not book a 5 star hotel, for the price I got and the service I got well exceeded its value. I am not saying that everything was wonderful as I could pick apart the hotel in many areas but again I did not purchase a 5 star hotel.

I was first directed to an adjoining buiding w rooms upstairs from a car rental. Corridors were long, no easy access to amenities, stairs unclean, isolated.I insisted on room in main hotel which was available after all. An adjoining room sounded like it may have been used for paid services at night. There were loud screams and furniture banging on two out of the three nights. I had to get up at about two AM and go to the main desk. Staff seemed hlepless to do anything about it. I spoke to the manager the next morning. My room was moved, but the same thing happened on my third night there. I called the main desk on that night.I should not have to pay for two restless nights.

It appeared with the amount of late night traffic and presence I police I believe there is drug activity going on in there. The doorknob in the room to the adjoining room was missing and paper towels were stuffed in it,completely unacceptable. The walls were filthy. Loud screaming children running laps around the building early in the morning on Sunday The staff was nice though. I would not stay there again.
