Family Event in Rutland
We were visiting family in the area and had our two children and our niece. The kids had a blast in the heated pool. The room was very clean and up to date. The continental breakfast was like being at a restaurant, there was enough choices for all five of us to enjoy. The hotel was located next to many attractions on the main street of Rutland. We will be returning to the Hampton Inn the next time we need to stay in Rutland.

Customer Service above and beyond!
The receptionist was outstanding, called us by name after she learned it. She called the room after about 15 minutes to make sure everything was satisfactory. She also remembered our names when we went down into the lobby in the evening. Outstanding!

The hotel directory listed several restaurants that offered a discount with your hotel key. We chose a restaurant called The Sirloin Saloon. It had a great salad bar, many great choices on the menu. A lighter portion of their favorites was available. The waitress paid attention without being in our face and the food was great.

Enjoyable stay
I stayed in this hotel b/c of the reputation the Hampton Inns have and I wasn't disappointed. The staff was super friendly and professional. The room as well as the hotel were clean. The location was perfect as it had shopping and restaurants all within walking distance. I would stay here again - no doubt about it!

So,so
We looked for an off the mountain hotel. It was more expensive than other hotels but we choose it because of its name. The hotel was clean and the stuff was friendly. But the heating unit in the room was as noisy as a airplane landing. Every 5 minutes it would jump us from our beds. Also the other room doors shut very rough and noisy. To sum up, clean but noisy hotel experience...

EXCELLENT ACCOMMODATIONS AND PERSONNEL
The hotel personnel were all friendly, helpful, and pleasant to deal with. The breakfast buffet was excellent---coffee 24/7 was really nice along with fruit available at all times. Although we didn't use the little "store" it was nice to know that it was also available 24/7 if we wanted it. It is also in a great location and easy to get to shopping, restaurants, etc. etc. I will definitely go again.
