Only missing a receipt
The greeting was very unusually low and disinterested. I liked that they were training a special needs person. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. Not having a recipt is a huge problem for me just now. They couldn't give it at the hotel and I paid an upgrade fee of $15 for my brother to stay with me . There was a huge leak on the floor also.

Basics are OK - barely
It's clean and quiet - so the basics are OK. But the breakfast should be skipped. Very little food, in an area that seats 20 for a hotel that can hold a hundred at least. And when we were there, the a/c brought the temp down to about 60 -- very uncomfortable! Maybe they were trying to get us out of there because there is so little room! There are enough other choices in this area that you can probably do better than this place.

Good deal for the price
Place is a good deal for the price. It's clean. The staff is nice & responsive. I have no complaints. This is not a fancy hotel - there is no HDTV or on-demand movie ordering, but the room was clean, the heat worked & the sheets were clean.

Pricey for small city accomadations
Walked on the floor with clean White socks for about 20 minutes and the entire bottom of the socks were completely black with dirt!!!! Pretty Nasty in my book!!

Reliable
Comfort Inn in Rutland is perfectly located if you want easy access to either Killington or Okemo. I've stayed here a number of times over the last few years, and always found it to be clean, and comfortable. The staff is pleasant enough. The free breakfast is very good, given the variety.

Great Hotel
The Staff was very helpfull and nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to the area. The rooms were great. Also had a good location in the town( right on the main strip for the most part).

The rooms have a micro-frig. so if it is for extended stay you can bring your on food which is key for low budget travelers.

Clean and comfortable place to stay
I had a good experience at the hotel, but even though I ordered a non-smoking room, they made me sign that I would pay $125 if I smoked in the room and $35 if I brought a pet. It gave me a feeling as though they did not trust me. I have never had to sign such a thing in my life.

Skier dude
Great value for killington ski area
Very convenient location, relatively clean (but not spotless) room. Free breakfast and hot tub a nice touch. Great value after a day of skiing at killington.
