Great Place to Stay!
Great location to stay if you want to ski Killington or Pico, but want something a little quieter than the hotels on the access road. Clean, spacious rooms with refrigerators and microwaves and a great continental breakfast. I would highly recommend and will definitely stay there again.

OK for families
The hotel is really groups of condo-type buildings with small fridge & microwave in each room and some are setup with living/dining/kitchen areas in addition to the bedroom. A full 'decent' breakfast is complimentary. It isn't special in any way but would be good if you have children. Near Killington so probably more sought-after in winter.

It's what it's cracked up to be.....
The hotel was fairly easy to find. We were headed to Pico after a day at Sunapee. It's certainly convenient to Pico. The staff was friendly. A plus. Steered us to a restaurant (South Station) that was "just okay" toward Rutland since I didn't feel like driving back UP to the Killington access road. We were able to make the best of it, although I must say, if they are going to recommend a restaurant they ought to visit it occasionally. Very dated menus, and it needs a good makeover. The food, however, was fairly decent. It's barely the Steak-House it claims to be and their sign wasn't lit. We almost missed it. Big-time. Beware the beds. They are narrow. Advertised as Queens/Doubles they were Full width. There was nothing else available and my son did not appreciate sleeping next to me, nor I, to him. Too cozy. There's plenty of room for Queen sized beds in the rooms. There were no cots available at all. That would have made a big difference in everyone's comfort. Breakfast was as advertised. Continental. A bit busy, but with self-serve Belgian waffles, decent juice and coffee, a good assortment of bagles and cereal it got us to the mountain not looking for additional sustenance. There was an attentive staff-person that made sure everyone was getting themselves served. Seating was confused and my boys and I weren't able to sit with my girlfriend and daughters. We made the best of it. Got breakfast and moved on. I think that if you go in expecting little, you'll be satified. Not a place for an extended stay for more than 2-3 people. I have no idea how the Suites are. Overall, I'd give them a 3 out of 5. Set your sights low and you'll have no problems. If you're expecting flexibility, look elsewhere.

Not Applicable
If you are up for the drive (and the waiting and commotion) head back to the access road for dinner and atmosphere. There's nothing of that at South Station.

Spacious and Friendly
Very spacious clean suite with friendly staff. Only thing that I would have liked would have been an indoor pool or hot tub.

Great Room and Price
Stayed at this Best Western on my trip to Killington. This hotel was a great price and was only 15 minutes away from the Killington base. It was a great location without having to pay the expensive price to stay next to the mountain. The room was very clean and the beds where really comfortable. The breakfast was really good and I was able to make my own Belgian waffles.
