Staff were friendly, and the rooms were clean, and well appointed considering this is a two star hotel. The hotel was undergoing some renovation work when I stayed, but this didn't inconvenience my stay any.
We were there to attend a wedding about half an hour away and it was easy to get there. We had a comfortable, clean and adequate room. We didn't need a lot of amenities for this trip. The staff was pleasant. Breakfast was adequate but very crowded
space and a little lacking in "good stuff." It was all we needed this time and covered our minimal needs.
No frills place. We came to Montpelier for some good craft beer. This place is an easy walk to Hunger Mountain Co-op and Three Penny Tap Room. Room was clean and staff was friendly. Free ice was also available for filling our cooler.
