My wife and I stayed at this hotel from 12/30 thru 1/1/12. It was nice enough but nothing extrordinary. Price was a bit expensive but room was clean, neat and warm. Had to ask for soap from the front desk 3 times before we had 2 bars delivered to the room by housekeeping. It apears that they do not like to give out soap for showering very much. But they did refill the coffee K cups for the coffee maker.

Disappoint at the Castle
The hotel was fair at best. The front desk staff was not particularly informed about the hotel (amenities, etc.). The first night was noisy due to a wedding reception on the property. The restaurant was closed due to the wedding. In addition, the hotel staff did not inform us that another restaurant was on the premisis. Consequently, we left the hotel for all meals. The was no information binder in the room to tell us anything about the hotel and the surrounding area. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. I do not think I would stay there again.

We enjoyed the Weston Craft Fair and the Vermont Country Store which was located about 11 miles from the hotel.

It was good
We booked a room only for one night - to have a shower and a good night's sleep while exploring Vermont. It was perfect for that. Very cosy, they also have fitness classes and pool but we were too late for them... The restaurant seemed pretty expensive, but you can always go out. Good place, would recommend it.

Great stay at The Pointe at Castle Hil!!
The Pointe at Castle Hill has refurbished, clean rooms with cable television - definitely pluses. The location is great, about 5 to 7 minutes from town and a bit more to Okemo Mountain. Eat at Sam's and Panarello's. The staff at the Pointe was friendly and pleasant. Both us of are looking forward to a return stay.

OK place to stay
Room was quiet and clean. Front desk personnel were friendly. It advertised free Internet access, but that was only the case in the lobby. If you wanted access from your room you had to pay. Please note that we stayed in mid June. It would probably not be quiet during ski season.

At a wedding.
I was only in the area to attend a wedding at a different inn so most of my time was spent doing wedding stuff. My stay at the Pointe at the Castle was perfect. I was very relaxed. Exactly what I wanted.
