Happy Trails At Okemo

I travel for business for only one night. What is good about this Hotel - early check in - 12pm. Room was big and OK. My cons are: they supply only 2 big towels for two people and towels smell like if they have being washed indurty water without soap. Sliding entrance door was almost immovable.Outside lamp above the door was hanging on electric power cord only. Door to the bathroom had a big hole. Hot tub was out of order...

To begin, they did not have our reservation[...] Lucky we had the confirmation & they had a room. The motel was old and in a little disrepair and hallways were musty, but room was suitable and clean.There was hot water in toilet,which was funny. Also we found that had we made reservations online directly with motel, we would have received a 10% discount for seniors,[...]We were there to attend a wedding which was close by.

We were in Ludlow for a couple of days of mid-week skiing. The room was surprisingly large and comfortable, with plenty of hot water, a clean refrigerator, nice carpet and soft beds. There was plenty of heat, too, and we needed it as it was subzero out. The hot tub was enjoyable as well. Slight drawbacks: no wireless Internet; too small bath towels; and no hair dryer.

the location was perfect for what we were looking for. A 2 minute drive to Okemo for skiing,and the downtown ludlow area. The hotel room was old outdated decor. This is not a luxry hotel room, i thought it was a little expensive for the quality of the room

Didn't have the cot promised....took a half hour to find the reservation in the "System" room smelled like chlorine and bathroom was disgusting no way this was three stars

the good rooms and the bad rooms are all the same price, the earlier you book the nicer your room.

This hotel has a decent location relative to Okemo mountain - just a few miles away. That's about all the good I can say about it, however. When we arrived, they charged us more than the Orbitz-given price. We paid and figured we'd deal with it through Orbitz later. Upon entering the hotel building, it smelled horrible. They do have a hot tub (plus) but there are dead things in it for sure, given how it smelled. Our "non-smoking" room smelled gross and had a bucket of cigarette butts on the porch. The room was cold, so we turned the heat up. 30 minutes later, it was the same temp so we called the front desk. They came over and then brought up a space heater that was a total fire hazard - one of the plug prongs was bent so it couldn't be plugged in, we had to unplug a lamp to be able to plug in the heater, etc. Later, we blew a fuse with one blow dryer running. The front desk wouldn't answer our call, we finally trekked over to the office, the woman accompanied us back to our room. We turned off everything in the room but one light and the hair dryer and the hotel woman stayed at the end of the hall, flipping the switch every time the fuse blew until my friend's hair was not soaking wet. So not a $200/night place. But it makes a good story, no?

nice friendly staff, clean rooms, close to shops and okemo , nothing negative to say.. wish i could have stayed longer....
