Grear Autumn Escape
Despite recovering efforts ongoing from hurricane Irene, our travels through the state were fun filled with art museums, craft shows, and mountain hiking. We were given the best direction from the staff for the best restaurants and routes to destinations. Soaking in the hot tub after supper and long trips was relaxing. Waking up to breakfast served got us off to early starts.

A complete disaster.
First of all, excuse my english,i am french canadian. I travel a lot,and i reserve always with hotwire;the 2 nights i reserve with you seems ok;the price was 115.20 for 2 days;the hotel took half of it on my credit card, witch is ok.the problem start at the counter;the guy there, who seems to be the owner of the place,Bob,told me the price was higher at 133.63 because i was not a member of AAA;How could i be a member of AAA,i am canadian;i try to show him a copy of my reservation confirmation;he did seem very interested;it was late, i was tired,so i paid the difference. In the room (second floor with stairs)NO air conditionned,it was like an oven.i did not sleep very well and i had to stay there for another night;i went to Walmart to buy a fan (30 miles).there was noise during the night.no phone in the room;i did not want to dress to go downstairs;so i endure;on the TV,only ONE channel. No breakfast . I would say that is more like a youth hostel with the price of a hotel;the worst of my life(including youth hostel)

Props !! i slept good
First trip up to shred 'the Beast.' Hotel was small, quiet, warm, comfortable. Great location, right on Killington Rd. Slept like a rock (bed was comfy). Probably THE BEST continental breakfast EVER, includes wait service and hot, fresh choices with made with real eggs, etc. Provides out-of-room storage for your wet shred/ski gear. Free and trouble-free WiFi access to check the snow reports.

Had a good time
It was an average stay in a great ski town, had a nice feel. The guy at the desk was very knowledgeably, about everything, even the hometown resort in wester New York, which was pretty cool

Great location and customer service
I got to the hotel very late, however they left me a note with instructions to my key and room. I was stoked on that for sure, because I thought theyd just be close. The building and my room both were very clean. Rooms are basic, but comfortable and warm. Breakfast in the morning with a staff that is rad and very knowledgeable about the trails and conditions at Killington, which is a couple minutes up the road. Very pleased I chose to stay there and will again for sure.

Great location for the price!
We enjoyed our stay so much as we traveled through Vermont to Maine that on our return, we made sure we stopped back in. Very friendly and helpful. Nice bed in a clean room. Beautiful common room. The owner gave us directions for a hike to a waterfall. Would recommend and definitely would stay again!!

A Great Place!! Great Stay!
This place was friendly, clean, and the price was right!!!We are always looking for a bargain. And, for the Killington Road, this place is a deal. Played golf, did some sight seeing, and had some great meals in town. Great Italian right next door. Plan on returning soon during the fall foliage.
