Wonderful getaway with all the amenities

We had a wonderful stay at the Grand and walking right to Showshed lift was perfect. The studio room with kitchenette and murphy bed was great for the price. This hotel was as nice as any I have been in out west. I would definitely recommend it.

Great place for vacation

Great location and the big pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room were great. You can walk to the slopes which was perfect.Only downside is the ceilings are paper thin and it sounded like a rodeo was going on above us. probably better for families less so for a romantic getaway

ski trip

wonderful amenities; perfect location to enjoy Killington's skiing for both the novice and advanced skier. hotel front staff seem stressed out or bored; not friendly; marginally helpful; not cheerful at check in or check out. the spa, pools, and exercise facility are great. included breakfast is superb. hotel room size, view, cleanliness, fabulous! would definitely stay again. staff in the rest of the hotel are good.

Staff were all very friendly.

Staff were all very friendly. Free use of internet and printer. We were given wrong room when we first checked in, however this was soon rectified and we were given a lovely room over looking the ski slopes with a balcony. Rooms clean and spacious, perhaps slightly dated. Good selection at breakfast. Hot food, although in covered containers over heater, was not very warm. Very convenient for slopes, just a short walk over a bridge.

The best hotel around the area

Four of us stayed here for two nights. We were there for skiing. Prime location. Ski check at the hotel is very convenient. The heated pool is big and warm even outside temperature is only 20 at night. Two jacuzzi are more than plenty. We found ourselves being the only family in the pool quite often. It is definitely the best outdoor heated pool we have ever seen. Steam room and sauna were a huge plus after one day of skiing.

The good, the bad.

We arrived late at night. The person at the front desk was rude. No one helped us with our bags to our room. We loaded and pushed the luggage cart down the hall ourselves. When we got to the room, it did not have the kitchenette we asked for. [...]The heating didn't work, which a maintenance guy had to fix, the safe was locked and we couldn't get into that until someone opened it. In the morning, we bought lift tickets at the front desk. We slept in and hit the slopes just before 12pm and bought a full day ticket. The next day, the front desk person said half day tickets, which are cheaper, start at 12pm, but no one told us that until we asked about it, which would have been good to know. On a good note, the location was slope-side and the pool/sauna/steam room were clean and fun. Awful service, good location. [...]

A nice getaway

The hotel in the summer is not close to any attractions, except being with nature. Despite the hotel always hosting events, the hotel itself was very empty and relaxing.
