Smokey!
The room was clean but the smell of smoke on the bedding, towels, pillows, and walls was wretched.

A great bargain
So we looked at the reviews and saw some bad ones regarding this place. Because of the price and location we decided to give it a shot anyway and were very glad we did. The staff was very polite and professional, for starters. The room was extremely clean and it seemed like it had been recently repainted and renovated. We had a non-smoking room and it was just that. The bed was comfortable and clean, so we definitely got what we wanted and paid much less than the other local hotels. Sure, one can complain that the TV was not a flat screen or that there was no breakfast - but for about 55 bucks for two people, can you really expect the Ritz Carlton? We would definitely stay at this hotel again as it is the best value for the money in the area.

fall getaway
Room was the worst i ever experienced. Absolutely no amenities - not even tissues! Horrible beds. A toilet without a toilet lid! Horrible linens and only one person at registration. It took forever. I will never stay at a Motel 6 again.

Works if you do not need extras
The motel was in the right location with easy access to Burlington, and the room was clean, so it met our needs. Don't look for extras though: no shampoo, no hair dryer, no tissues. And you have to be willing to share the elevator with people taking their pets out in the morning (and in one case, carrying the used cat litter box as well) - ugh.

The Best of the Basics
We stayed here for almost a week in advance of a family wedding. This is not a luxury resort, but everything was clean and in working order, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. My only beef was with the internet access; we bought codes in advance, and had to have them updated frequently, since the system seemed very labile. But for a bargain basement price, this was a terrific value and we had a better than average stay.
