Days Inn Colchester Burlington

was welcomed by a friendly smile, a little unusual for the reserved people of Vermont, but the room was a little disappointing. Very old and in need of a fresh coat of paint and new carpet. The bed was comfortable so I really can't complain too much since a good night's rest was all I was there for.

The Days Inn is a little run down, though clean and quiet. The design elements are not as sophisticated and congruent as some higher end chains. It was a cheap room, so I did not expect much. For the price, I would stay there again. The people at the desk were very nice and helpful.

Good location easy drive to anywhere in Burlington and a good value. The room was clean and the showers had a Teledyne Water Pick...awesome. The bed was comfortable I checked the mattress and it was a Serta. The hotel is dated...the floors creek and we did not use the pool. Complimentary continental breakfast also a bonus! Overall I can live with the floors as long as I sleep well and have a good shower in the am! For $60.00 well worth it.

Great room, nice with balcony. Wish the waffles had real Vermont maple syrup. Everything was very comfortable.

I was just looking for a hotel to spend the night in before flying out early the next morning. While older, I was surprised at the cleanliness and size of the room. But the best element was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, which was exemplary.

This is not high-creature-comfort hotel; But as a basic place to spend the night or a few days, it is a very good value. Close enough to the airport and Interstate to get to easily, but far enough from the landing/take off zones, that we heard almost nothing -- and we stayed there 5 days, so we had lots of opportunities. Nice walk into the center of Winooski and a short drive to Burlington center made this a good location. Very friendly helpful staff who always had smiles on their faces -- very welcome after a day of driving or attending wedding festivities. Suggest getting a room on the back -- no road noise! And Suggest getting a room at the higher end of the room numbers -- its the newer wing. Only complaint was a lack of sufficient light at the work table, but other rooms had brighter lighting, so ours may have been an anomaly. All in all, don't spend more money unless you feel you must have the latest interior decor and room service.

Good value if you are a very heavy sleeper. The walls are very thin, you can hear everything in the room above - and I mean everything. The doors on all of the rooms are the old style heavy doors that when closed sound like a bomb going off.

noisey up until after 3 am with children bouncing on and off beds above us - it is a very old hotel - you get what you pay for.

The location of hotel was great, the continental breakfast was very nice, the staff at check-in was very hospitable, and it was very easily accessible from either way on road. The only problem we had with the room was we reserved a non-smoking room and the first thing that was evident when we walked in the room was the smell of cigarette smoke in the room. We immediately opened sliding doors and left them open throughou the night.

We went to the Champlain Valley Fair and this hotel was very conveniently located a mile or so down the street. The room was very clean, the sheets were fresh although the remote for tv didnt work I was happy with the room. The hotel itself seems a little dated but the staff was very pleasant and welcoming
