The $30.00 upgrade was nice with the breakfast and lounge included. i would do that again.
Like I said , the upgrade made it easier for our family who had to get up early and drive to Stowe for ski racing. I would like to see the lounge breakfast served at 6:30 on weekends for that very reason.

A place to have one night good sleep prior to a departure.
The stay was comfort. The room was adequate. It was cleaned. It fullfil my expectancies. The hotel is near to the airport. It is a place to stay one night prior to the departure. It is not a place for a vacations. The swiming pool was awful. It was green. It needs a better care.

Very good experience
The only thing that was not totally wonderful was the fact that the toilets are low-flush (which I believe I asked for!). I'd never had those before, and found that they had to be flushed several times to actually do the job. But it was a small price to pay for saving water, I think.

Burlington Downtown
In the future I would stay further from downtown and pay less for a more remote hotel; there are ample public parking garages and if you are looking for a value, ponying up an extra $100 for the location is not worth it. Other than price, great rooms.

Great Experience
We were in Burlington for our sons graduation at UVM! We've stayed at the Sheraton on previous occasions and love the proximity to the school and the amenities at the hotel. Definitely the most convenient hotel to UVM and if you mention that you are a UVM parent, there were discounts on some weekends. The hotel has a decent gym, a pool, a bar with good food and a full service restaurant. The hotel offered shuttle service during the graduation. Although the school is right across the street (almost), we did use the service as the ceremony was too far for some to walk back and forth. Although they have great Starbucks coffee in every room, my only suggestion would be that you could get coffee someplace in the hotel (other than room service, earlier in the morning. Their kiosk opens at 6:30 or 7, which is late for us. The club level does have a nice spread but does not open until 7:00. This was on a weekend so maybe they are earlier during the week.

Short drive from hotel
Great food in Burlington and surrounding areas. The Green Room is in downtown Burlington. We ate there each time we came to visit. Sushi, etc. Very good. However, for graduation we went to The Belted Cow in Essex-one exit away. Excellent food and service. Everything fresh and special requests, no problem. Also, The Black Sheep Bistro in Vergennes. 1/2 hr drive but worth the time.

UVM Visit
Hotel was close to UVM for student visit. Tour originated at hotel. The amenities were very nice but a bit of an overkill for this visit. I would stay here for a business trip if I was in the area.

Great, well-situated hotel
The Sheraton is very centrally located; during our stay, we ice skated at the Cairns arena, just two miles away, shopped at Church Street Mall, and ate at several local restaurants, all within a few minutes. Our room was very nice, clean and quiet. The pool is large and very pretty, and the workout facilities were nice as well (three treadmills, a couple bikes and an elliptical, along with a weight machine). We also had an excellent breakfast in the dining room, and our server was great and brought my kids' "shared" Belgian waffle on two separate, nicely adorned plates. The only minor complaint was that a used, loaded meal tray was left in the hallway during the entire visit, and a toilet plunger was left in front of another room. Otherwise, everything was excellent, and I'd highly recommend the hotel.
