welcome to my closet

We stayed at this hotel when we attended a concert in Burlington. We love Burlington, everything is within walking distance. However, our room was so small you could barely walk around the bed. The bathroom was equally small. Absolutly nothing special about this room. We felt it was not worth the money.

Tired hotel

Our stay at the Hiton, formerly the Radisson and many others, did not live up to expectations of a Hilton hotel. Maid service was very late( after 2pm), TVs in room are old and tired, rooms are small and tired. Pool did not have towels and hot tub was ice cold in the morning. No good coffee in the hotel and no choice of newspapers. But in general the service and the value for the money paid to be in Burlington proper was not worth it. The competition up the street is going to get our business in the future. Who charges for internet any more...

Just bare bones

Location is good (lake view rooms) but soundproofing is poor and you can really hear that traffic. Rooms are ordinary and I was surprised there were no movies or other entertainment options and just a few cable channels. Staff doesn't go out of their way to be helpful. We asked about internet connection and got a 2 second tutorial.... speaking of which, internet is upwards of $10 per 24 hours, depending on the speed you choose.

Not worth the money at all.

Expensive hotel, have to pay for WIFI if you want to use in your room otherwise you must go to the lobby area which was noisy to say the least. No hotel parking, parking lot was owned by the city so if you are staying there other than on sunday you had to pay when you left the hotel everytime. Made one phone call to a restaurant a quarter mile away and was charged $4.....Thought the Hilton was supposed to be top of the line.....this wasnt worth it at all.

taking a break from routine

The hotel was well located but the room was missing too much for something that was renovated. I prefer to stay at the Marriott even if it was more expensive.

Good stay with a few flaws

Upon our arrival we were told that our room was not ready and were offered two complimentary breakfast tickets. This was a nice gesture but we had booked the bed and breakfast special, already including complimentary breakfast. Parking was located in a parking garage, with a $10 a day charge. We also discovered that Wi-Fi has a $12 dollar a day fee. The hotel decor was up to date but my husband and I were disappointed with the size of our room, it felt very cramped. The King size bed took up most of the room, but was very comfortable. The hotel's location was walking distance to the waterfront and shopping. We had to wait in line for breakfast for about 20-30 minutes but, the food was good. We loved Burlington, but I think we will look for something different next time.

Winter Stay

The trip to Burlington was for a birthday. We did not spend much time at the HIlton but to sleep it was perfect. I found two things strange, the parking situation and the heat in the room. Other then those things the rest of the hotel seemed good we did not check out the bar or pool area.

Great View, Average accommodations

Our trip to Burlington was short and ok. It started with a tour of Magic Hat brewery. The only good thing was the free samples, because the tour is very disappointing. Dinner at American Flatbreat was great. The service was wonderful on a very busy night.

Great location, bad room rate

Travelled to Vermont with family to attend the orientation for new students at UVM.The room we booked was for 4 adults. The room was very small and overlooked the parking garage which we wouldn't have minded however we paid $285 per night. When we looked at the Hilton website the same room was at a rate of $159 per night week nights. One of our nights was a week night but we were locked into the [...]rate so nothing could be done about it!Needless to say I feel like we were ripped off!!! This hotel also charges for parking as well as internet use.[...]

Renovations!

The Hotel was being renovated during our stay so it's difficult to say whether our experience was typical! The staff was very helpful, very friendly but the hotel was pretty much a mess, although our room was clean and more than comfortable.

You can park you car in the hotel's garage and walk to a diverse downtown dining experience. Many restaurants feature outside dining.
