long weekend getaway for Vermont Marathon

This hotel has a great location with view of Lake Champlain and the Adirondaks. We had a problem when we first arrived as the rug near the window was wet. A staff member arrived immediately and offered to help us move to another room.. He then discovered the problem was with a condensor, and was able to repair it. He used a shop vac to remove the water. It was a spacious room with a comfortable couch and Kingsize bed. He gave us complimentary breakfast coupons for the length or our stay.

Lovely Experience

I thought all the folks that I encountered connected with this Hilton were not at all like its namesake - there was no "Conrad-rudeness". The bartender, [...], makes one of the best manhattans going. If you book a room, call them and try to get "Lakeside" for you will not be disappointed.

Killer View

The hotel was lovely-- we had a city view of the lake and even on the 2nd floor it was beautiful. The front desk was helpful and super quick to address anyone that walked up to the counter. They even had a shuttle to take guests downtown-- the driver made some good dinner recommendations and was just as friendly as the rest of the staff!

GREAT stay & best view of Lake Champlain

What more could you want? We had an excellent stay with courteous, professional service, comfortable beds, and perhaps the best sunset view of Lake Champlain that I've EVER seen!
