Family Wedding in Burlington

Location between airport & downtown Burlington was excellent. Front desk did not have my requested room accomdation, but said it was the fault of Orbitz, because their fine print said that particular requests cannot always be guarenteed. Said I needed to call hotel directly to assure reservation request. However, before I left parking lot in route to room, desk clerk came to my car and said she had found my requested room accomdation, so please return to front desk to have room switched.

getaway with friends

lovely hotel; extremely helpful and friendly staff. In process of renovation - getting new carpet. Our friends in the next room complained about an odor in the room - like glue. Ours was odor free and comfortable. Loved the garden and sitting spot outside and the girls in our party enjoyed the beautiful gift shop right next door. Would visit there again!

nice hotel for an ok price

even with the late night arrival, we were greeted with cookies and a warm greeting. Did not have enough time to fully enjoy the hotel, but would've liked to take some time off in the hotel pool. shampoo and conditioner seemed to be made out of poshy ingredients, and everything looked fancy!

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

University Mall is located within walking distance, which was helpful to me since I didn't have a car. Also, the Barnes & Noble right behind the hotel provided good late-night reads!

Great Value

Upon my midnight arrival, I was greeted by name and presented with a deliciously warm home-baked cookie. The free wi-fi got me caught up quickly and LCD TV with included HBO let me unwind before getting a full night's sleep in an extremely comfortable bed.

Great service!

I went to Burlington to visit my son who attends college. There were a lot of families at the Doubletree. The service from check in to check out was exceptional. I also received wonderful service at the resturant. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly from the front desk to the housekeeping staff.
