Brattleboro is the Gateway to Southern Vermont and the Green Mountains. The newly 2010 renovated Quality Inn, is a AAA 2 Diamond Full Service Hotel. On site you will find a wonderful Mexican restaurant, two swimming pools -indoor and seasonal outdoor- as well as a dry sauna andfFitness Room. We are conveniently located within easy reach of ski areas like Okemo, Killington, Mt. Snow, Stratton, or go down the Connecticut River or the many lakes for canoeing, kayaking. We provide easy access to I-91 to spend time in many antique Shops and much more. There is no place like Vermont in the Fall.

Brattleboro VT 7/11

I was a tourist in Vermont, hiking and visiting with local friends. The location is very convenient, generally clean and comfortable. There was an odd after scent from some sort of air freshener in the hallway that permeated into the rooms. Parts of the hotel retain their former smoker's floor smell despite the upgraded redecorating evident from previous stays at the hotel.

Underconstruction

Even though I read the bad reviews on this hotel It was the only hotel available for bringing my grandson to college. The worst part was the bathrooms were filthy. Also trying to get one more towel was frowned on. They only allotted two for two people. I needed a clean hotel. This hotel doesn't hold a candle to my previous hotel. MMD

Good location

The outside appearance of the hotel, was not good. All of the 1st floor windows were covered with plastic, construction materials in parking spaces. I did not feel comfortable parking my car in a area where workmen would be around my car. The pool was wonderfully warm.. however it looked unappealing yellow/green. I ate in the restaurant that was in the hotel, staffing left a lot to be desired. Very slow service. The room was fine and the pricing was great. I would stay there again and hopefully the construction would be finished.

Double billing

I won't recommend this place. We've been charged twice and when we called to dispute, the staff kept giving us the run around.

No Continental Breakfast

The staff was very nice I have no complaints with them. I brought my family on a short business/fun trip to this hotel. WE had rooms side by side and we could hear everything that was said in each others rooms. The continental breakfast consisted of 8 mini muffins, coffe and tea,no juice no cereal no bagels. I did ask the girl on duty when the rest of the breakfast was coming out and was informed that this is all there would be. The hotel was full so I really don't think the 8 muffins were going to go very far. I would not stay there again

Ramada Inn - I can't make this up

Rooms were old and tired. Security was weak --- we had a room at the rear of the hotel and the entrance door from the back of the hotel bordered I-91 and required no key access for entry. Enroute to my room, I had to get past 2 guests who were wrestling and yelling in the hallway. At 8 AM, there were 3 donuts as tired looking as my room that I wouldn't have given to my dog. I guess when I saw hotel and conference center, I expected something better but the places down the street at half the price beat this destination. Good luck --- you will need it.

How I think I paid too much!!!!!

We had a great time sightseeing and traveling around the area. Many shops and sights to see and they are not very far away. Day trips were our plan and it worked out perfectly.

Downtown Brattleboro is like a step back in time. The old time downtown with all the little shops and restaurants was most pleasing. We couldn't stay away.We even went back again and again to catch everything. However much to my dismay I had to pay 65 dollars more than what the hotel normally charged.Next time I will not use Orbitz ever again.

the worst experience ever

1st night room not ready, had to bring bags back downstairs and wait for a room. New room had feces in toilet and mucus on the shower curtain, and wi fi didn't work,so back downstairs with bags at now midnight!staff refused to clean room, said leave if you don't like it, had to pay for a new hotel after having paid for this one.So clearly we saved NOTHING by going here. Staff actually threatened to go "new york style on us"!
