Stayed here for 2 nights for my gf's bachelorette getaway weekend. There were 5 of us staying in 3 rooms. I, personally, stayed in the Sun & Moon room and it was great. One small gripe would be the couple of moths that were flying around and one
spider that wanted to torture me. Not much you can do about that though, it is, after all, in the country. They were all killed in order for me and my friend to sleep. =/ All of the rooms were lovely though. When we arrived, we were the only ones there so we were able to peek into each one. Breakfast was amazing both mornings! Definitely want to try to re-create the broccoli & mushroom crust-less quiche Rhonda made, it was delightful. The hot tub is separate from the main house and in a room so rain or shine, you can go in. The landscaping is something to mention as well. It was very beautiful and there is nice little patio to sit at or a gazebo in the center of the lawn. Also, there is a pub in the house with 3 beers on tap and quite a few bottles of wine. I think the hours are only happy hours though...4-7pm, I believe. Everything was great and I would definitely recommend Forty Putney to anyone and hopefully go back again soon!
