Stratton Ski Trip

Some of the comments say that the rooms are in dis-repair, but the room we were given was great! 2 double beds and very large. The bar/restaurant was nice and cozy, we especially enjoyed the large fireplace in use at dinner and at the continental breakfast. 45-60 mins to Stratton on 30 North, depending on how fast you drive. Traffic was never an issue to and from the mountain. We would stay here again on our next ski trip to Statton because of the price.

Lots of Improvements!

Well we stayed here before, but came back for the first time in a year. Our last stay was great, new comforters were a nice touch. The Tavern had a great burger as always. Restoration looked great.

Not bad but needs improvment

Well, It was a nice place, I thought it was a little run down for the price, there were holes in the wall and the toilet was rockey in the room. Nice pool though they need more open swim time for families. They don't have many tv channels either and not enough plugs I couldn't plug in the fridge and ac at the same time.

Quiet clean affordable

The check in was quick, the staff friendly. The only surprise was that [...]stated "from $60" when the bill was actually $74 with my AAA discount. [...]

Old, clean and good food

The hotel on the picture looks a lot newer than atually is. The rooms were quite blah and run down, but the mattress were good, the bathroom were renovated and the dinner in the tavern was very good. Breakfast was Ok as well.

Colonial Review

We stayed in one of the older rooms and it was definitely well-worn and had seen better days. But it was clean and the price couldn't be beat. Besides, we really didn't spend any time in our room other than to sleep and shower. They have an incredible indoor pool and a great hot outdoor hot tub. While the free continental breakfast may be lacking, the attached restaurant is a FABULOUS dinner spot. Staff is friendly and eager to assist when possible.

Dining tip: In Hotel

The attached restaurant has had several resurrections and we believe is now run by the motel (not leased out). The food was wonderful. We highly recommend it!
