Most units are on the first floor but we were given an upstairs unit with no elevator. Since the motel was fully booked we could not change units. Our room was large, clean but dated.

Funeral trip but good well rested
Well we were there for a Funeral so it wasn't for fun and leisure. So what we needed was a place that was comfortable for the whole family of 4, good night sleep. The room was clean, bed comfortable, bathroom/shower was great (showers are a big deal to me)my only complaint was I could not control the temperature in my room and I was very hot in the evening. I don't know if this was because we were near the laundry room or not. What was great was the continental Breakfast one of the best I have seen since North Carolina, it started our day off great considering it was going to be emotionally draining. Also I was full of lint and the reception let me use a link remover which made me feel better. Those two things alone made me give them a 4 rating verses a 3....but room temp would have been nice.

It was a nice motel and had exactly what it said. We wanted a comfortable room, bed and simple breakfast and that is what we had. Thanks for the helo.

Good location
Great location for access to antique stores along Route 7. Good value for the price paid for my two night stay. Very clean room/bathroom.

good place for an overnight stay
We like to stop in Bennington VT. For a good nights sleep and a couple hours in the evening going to dinner and walking around the town. We are on our way the next morning to New Hampshire.

The old train station has been made into a wonderful restaurant we try to go there when we are in Bennington.

Great find
The motel is across a car park from a large - not noisy- 24 hr food and super market with the works. Walmart also close.The main town is a short drive, or a 25 minute walk. Stay in an upstairs room if noise sensitive as the floorboards creaked over us. Good, if simple, breakfast with fruit. Very reasonable online rates, can use NRMA membership for discount AAA rates. Dine at the old railway station, nice handmade chocolate shop in town and other adequate food options. Make sure you visit the Bennington Memorial and go up the lift for a good view.
