Americas Best Value Inn Bennington

Older hotel, but very clean with friendly owners. Room was small, but spacious. The AC worked very well. Bathroom was clean.

Very friendly owners and excellent value. The hotel was very clean. Please keep in mind that the hotel has probably not changed much in the last 40 years (a few updates), but do not let that deter you from staying here. This hotel was very clean (more so than some 5 star hotels I have stayed in), the owners were very accommodating.

We were just passing thru Bennington, VT and this place fit out Budget perfectly. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very nice. This place was very retro!! Don't expect major amenities but it was GREAT for a budget place!!

For some reason, the hotel didn't get the memo that we asked for non-smoking, so we had to use the only available room that was non-smoking, and it didn't have the bed type we wanted. Breakfast was not appetizing, the food was not fresh. The rooms were clean, but no shampoo. The location was quiet, and the lodging had the basics.

The hotel was outdated and there were virtually no amenities. It is good for an overnight stay, but not other than that. It was slightly overpriced for what you get.

this is a great little place for the price....yes...it's a tad outdated, but it's a great value for the price. It was quiet, clean and comfortable, and the host was friendly.

The hotel was very old. There were not many dining options other than Friendly's, Taco Bell and Friendly's. The room was clean, but everything in it was very old and worn. I would not stay here again.

This was a great throw back to the 1950's if you like the knotty pine motif. The bath look refurbished but the room was a bit worn. The mattress was soft the rug matted. There was no hot water for the shower in the evening. The continental breakfast was a dissapointment. There was no decaff coffee, no cream or milk and the regular coffee was watered down. There were only 3 lemon and poppy seed muffins on display. There were very few guests staying at the motel. The pool water was clean but there were ants nesting at the tile end cap. The plastic furniture had lost its finish and was beginning to have a weathered stain. There was no clean up of toys after the pool closed. The address numbering was confusing they tend to increase and decrease as the hills did.

The room was very clean but the hotel is old. The a/c wasn't on, so the room smelled musty and mildewey. The windows could be opened but there were no screens - summertime near the woods requires screens. The beds were terrible. We picked this hotel because it was the only one in the area with available rooms the night we needed it, and won't be returning.
