2008 Award winning hotel. Convenient to I-81. Just 3 miles from the historical Old Town Winchester with shops and attractions. 3.5 miles from Winchester Medical Center. All rooms have free wireless high-speed Internet, microwaves, refrigerators, and hair dryers. Free continental breakfast. Coffee in some rooms. Pet charge: 10.00/stay per pet. Pet limit: 2 pets per room.

Stressful stay, dumb employees

This was just one stressful experience. I stayed at this hotel during a long drive moving to a new state. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats, so we called the hotel twice before reserving the room to make sure it would be okay for the night. I was told that it would be fine, and that they would charge a pet deposit upon check-in. Well, we got there and there was a sign that said 1 pet per room. Then, they couldn't find our reservation. After telling them of our experience, the manager allowed us to stay and made a copy of our license and credit card, and promised to return the copy upon successful inspection of the room at check out. Well, check out came and we went to the front desk. The housekeeper said it was fine, and we waited 20 minutes for the manager to come and give us the photo copy that he could NOT FIND. Eventually he found it and we were on our way. If it hadn't been for the pets, I still would not have enjoyed the stay. The bathroom was tiny, the bedding was old and had stains on the sheets, and the hallway smelled like cigarettes. They only gave us one room key which made things difficult.

Convenient and comfortable

Comfortable room & bed, very convient for travelers, just off of I-81. My only complaint was the coffee for the room didn't taste too good, but the coffe from the breakfast room was fine.

Not bad for the price..

The staff were really friendly and check in was super easy. The location was perfect for the family that we were in town to visit. The only problems were that we could hear everything that was happening in the hallway and the nearby rooms and the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner.
