The bartender (no dinner service) offered several delivery options and recommended I have them deliver to bar area. Worked out great for me so much so that several other guests utilized the same method.

the good and the bad
the room was clean. hairdryer was in the wardrobe instead of the bathroom. the coffe maker was so dirty(hair in the water chamber)that i wouldnt clean it. if you happen to fall in the tub you would hit your head on th ceramic tile seat and crack your head. we didnt fall. just ok,no free continental breakfast.glad we were there only one night.also there was a stink bug in the room,asked for a fly swat and the guy "i wished we had one"!

Best way to end a vacation!!
We were on our way back from seeing our son home from afghanistan. That was wonderful and we needed a hotel for a night on the way home. This was an awesome end to our vacation. We have paid more for hotels and gotten a whole lot less. The room had 2 king beds, it was beautifully decorated. And best of all, it was totally clean!! I would def. recommend this hotel if you are in winchester, va. We loved it!!

The breakfast is a little extra but well worth it. It was very good. Waffles, fruit, sausages, bacon, homefries, juice, coffee and muffins along with cereal and eggs cooked how you like them.

I have stayed in Winchester many, many times: either at the Courtyard Marriot, or the Wyngate... For the same price, the Wyngate offers free breakfast, newspaper, and a wide range of News TV channels. The Courtyard does not offer breakfast free, newspaper, and for inexplicable reasons, allowed CNN, MSNBC, but not Fox News Network, which offers more fair and balanced reporting.

The hotel is great, but could offer a buffet breakfast, free, as other hotels in the area do. As well as an in-room microwave.

Good hotel
I stayed at the Courtyard since it was close to a customer for work. Clean rooms, reliable Internet, good service, friendly staff. However, the fitness room was a bit of a let down compared to other Courtyard's I've stayed at in the past. The equipment was pretty old and someone from maintenance had to come in to get two of the treadmills to even work. Other than that, it was a great stay!
