Everything was good until after breakfast, w could not get back into our room.the desk clerk tried everything and then had to call the manager to get us into our roor which put us behind schedule.

Comfortable stay
Usually, when participating in competitions for the North-South Skirmish Association at Fort Shenandoah, I sleep in my camper, but due to the extreme cold weather, I was glad I was able to reserve a room, and able to sleep comfortably for my 2 nights there. Expecting a continental breakfast, I was pleasantly surprised to find a good selection of good food. The staff was very courteous and friendly, which added to the pleasantness of my stay. Even the motel is close to I-81, I didn't really notice the noise from the traffic.
