Could provide more
Our visit was to see Colonial Williamsburg, and Jamestown in March. The hotel is located next to the Visitor's Center which makes it convenient to catch the buses. The hotel is clean, quiet, and friendly however, the continental breakfast has what you would expect for this title but why can't the go a step further and have more? i.e.: scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes, etc... If you don't have a vehicle you have to take the bus which only travels around the historical area, then you have to walk. We found pretty much one restaurant that served breakfast called "Aromas." Maybe more restaurants will be open for breakfast during tourist season. The local restaurant, "Huzzahs" is located between the hotel and the Visitor's Center but is not open 7 days a week. Our tired bones had to hop back on the bus and take a ride back to the historical area and walk around to find a restaurant which would fit our needs. On our first day we ate dinner at "Huzzah's" but they were only open for dinner. I'm not sure if this schedule changes for the tourist season. I would go back, but there are many other local hotels to try.

BEAUTIFUL AND CONVENIENT LOCATION
The hotel was great, and convenient to the Visitors Center, and Old williamsburg. The length of the halls were a minus due to my wifes osteoarthritic knees. We enjoyed the continental breakfast, but the menu didn't change for the three days we were there.

Short drive from hotel
I think this hotel is close enough for walking to the main attractions and shopping. And a short ride gets you to wonderful golf courses and a kids waterpark. However, being from out of state, we noticed that there is a lack of posted directions to the Woodlands.

OK, But Not Ideal
It's a new facility with nice rooms and an helpful front desk staff. But, I was disappointed to find a hair in the tub and no bath or hand soap in the room. Also, it was noisy due to very thin walls and rude people with loud children.

Great location/Great staff
Hotel is very conveniently located for visiting Colonial Williamsaburg/Jamestown/Yorktown. Few minutes walking distance to the Visitor Center and shuttles to all three sites. The room, while not large, was adequate and was very clean. The staff was wonderful-cheerful, competent, and polite. Complimentary breakfast was OK. On site restaurant offered pretty good food at a reasonable price. Try the Woodlands' pizza and the ice cream.

Great place to stay with kids!
We enjoyed the pool after tramping around Williamsburg in the heat. The location was perfect, close to the shuttle bus which we took several times every day. Continental breakfast was more than adequate and we loved eating outside in the mornings. Would recommend highly to families.
