loved it!
I loved the williamsburg plantation! It was certainly the best place I've ever stayed. Everything I wanted to do or see was only within a few minutes drive. I will be going back for sure. The staff was friendly and willing to help with anything I needed.

While in Williamsburg we ate at several different places. The two places I liked the most were captain georges and also mama steves. Captain Georges is a little pricey but it was well worth the money. Mama Steves had the best blueberry syrup ever! Worst place I went to was jungle Jims the food was cold/frozen and the staff was horrible!

Great Value
No hassle time share at an exceptional price. The 1 BR was nice with a full kitchen. Lots of restaurants and a grocery store a short drive away.

Clean and roomy.
Upon check-in, I was upgraded to a unit with a full kitchen and jacuzzi. Not all of the units have these features, so if you need them - be sure to double check when you book your stay. The staff was nice for the most part, though I did have an upstairs neighbor who was VERY noisy and staff offered to talk to they guy to gently remind him that there was a guest below him (I don't think this ever happened). I complained again and the staff offered to move me to another unit (after I had unpacked and gotten groceries in the fridge, etc). So, I opted not to move. The guy upstairs was a very heavy walker and I could hear doors slamming throughout the night, etc. I guess I should have moved (3 nights of hardly any sleep is not fun). Hint: try to get an upstairs unit if you're a light sleeper. There were hardly any other guests in the entire complex, so why staff chose to put me below the only guest in the whole place is beyond me. Other than that - the accommodations were very roomy and everything was spotless. The linens really need to be updated, but the bed wasn't uncomfortable. I had an electric fireplace which was nice (flip of the switch and you have a little cozy "fire") and the bathroom was huge. The location was good and you can get to most everything in Williamsburg within a few minutes. I usually try out the fitness facilities when I stay in a hotel, but time didn't allow it this time. They have an indoor pool and apparently a fitness facility too. Overall, very nice stay. Will return in the future.

Not to bad for the price
The staff was very friendly upon me checking in and checking out. I did notice however that the resort did not offer any activities during the weekend, only for during the weekend. I was a bit upset as I would have rather stayed at the resort all weekend and not have to find somewhere else to go especially being that my stay was during the non-seasonal times for Bush gardens or water country. Other then that my stay was rather enjoyable at the resort!

Area was excillent, resort was a pleasant surprise except for no free Internet and no free towels. Bed needs to be upgraded to 20th century comfort.

Will definately be returning!
The A unit, Jacuzzi suite was wonderful, like walking into a timeshare resort or something from a magazine! My husband and I had a weekend break from life in general and needed to de-stress and relax and we couldn't have chosen a better spot to do so and it was also for celebrating Valentine's day and my birthday, we checked in the weekend before Valentines day. There was a full kitchen, equipped with everything needed to cook, all you need to do is go a mile up the road and get groceries! Very spacious and accomodating, great secuity there as well! Spacious bathroom complete with a huge jacuzzi tub and egyptian cotton sheets for the bed and sleep sofa! I slept like a baby! Very convenient to everything Williamsburg has to offer, prime outlets, yankee candle factory, pottery as well as a vast array of restaurants and eateries! Will definately make the Williamsburg Plantation Resort a yearly tradition! Not expensive at all, especially when you consider all your getting and it was worth every penny! My husband and I were very pleased, it has all the comforts of home! They even offer a safe in your closet to hold your personal belongings and the gas logs were also a plus! I also like the fact that they have an indoor pool and hot tub as well as a fitness center, on-site spa and they have their own daily activities that they offer as well as activities for children including age appropriate playgrounds and tot lots! They also have a couple of on site restaurants on the premises too! You also have your own private patio or balcony if you are on the top floor, with table and chairs, outdoor grill with grill tools provided! I highly recommend the Williamsburg Plantation Resort to anyone!!!!

Great weekend getaway!
Room was very clean and plenty of space. The bed room looked no where near what was posted on the internet but was still nice. Updated bedding would make it much nicer.Overall satisfied for the price and would definitely go back.
