Great Spring Vacation

This is the second time we have stayed at the Wmsburg Plantation. Both times our stay has been fantastic. Our rooms were clean and very comfortable. The staff was great and the location was just right for both Busch Gardens and the shopping outlets. We will stay here again in the fall for our next trip without any hesitations.

2nd stay here, much better without someone stomping overhead.

I've stayed at the Williamsburg Plantation Resort twice now, and I must say that having an upstairs unit was much quieter, but alas, smaller that the downstairs unit I had last year. The unit included a full kitchen, spacious bathroom (though no jacuzzi as described in the description), small living room and a dining area that was kind of squished in between the kitchen and living room. The bedroom is in it's own separate space and the bed was pretty comfortable. There was a balcony/patio area off the bedroom which was nice. There's a fairly large indoor pool (and outdoor pool that wasn't open yet) and the fitness center is better than most hotels in the area. Location is pretty good, and we had no noise from traffic. The grounds are very well kept (a little too well kept). I observed a lawn crew mowing grass that was already cut too short. In fact, they mowed over the same areas more than once (or twice), kind of like they were just wasting time before moving on to the next patch of already-cut grass. Needless to say, this created quite a bit of noise. Also, one morning at exactly 8 a.m. on the dot, the leaf blower crews came out. So, if you want to sleep in a little, it's not always possible due to all the maintenance done on the grounds (we called it "extreme" maintenance). Overall, pleasant stay - but this place should re-think all the lawn mowing and the crew they've hired. It appears that they waste more time trying to look busy than actually accomplishing anything worthwhile.

Great family getaway

This was the perfect place to stay for our little family. We are a younger couple with a one year old baby girl. Having the two separate rooms gave us the more home like sleeping arrangements, which helped all of us get a good nights sleep. The fire place & balcony views were absolutely beautiful! Everything was very clean and organized nicely. The staff was very welcoming and the check-in/check-out was a breeze. We highly recommend this to any families looking for a nice get away with the home feel.

Clean, newly renovated time share community

The Williamsburg Planation was a great place to stay. Our unit was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The community is a time share community and has lots of activities available, but we did not take advantage of any of them as we spent our time seeing the sights in Williamsburg. There are plenty of hotels that are a few minutes closer to Colonial Williamsburg, but you should pick this one if you're looking for something larger or something with a kitchen.

We had a super time!

Great location, spacious room, easy access to laundry (8 ft from the door!), fun playground and pool for kiddos. 10 minutes from Williamsburg, lots of restaurants near by and easy access to 64. We will definitely be back!

Perfect for a family stay

Spent two nights to visit the area. With four adults and three young children, having a two-bedroom apartment is much better than two hotel rooms, and with the special we got this was also much cheaper. The apartment was roomy, the kitchen functional, all was clean, and although we didn't use them the amenities seem perfect for a longer stay in summer time.

The playground at Mid County Park, 5 min drive away on the way to Jamestown, is fabulous for children 2 to 8, and is lit at night.
