Unhappy Visitor
Horrible!!!
Stayed at this hotel one night on our way to Kitty Hawk NC.... there was a heat advisory in effect all day long.. we arrived and the hotel renting 2 rooms... one was fine... the other the air conditioning did not work... we turned it up and went out sightseeing when we arrived back around 4 pm it was still hot... almost as hot as outside ... in the room... I called the office and the manager told me to turn it down... which didn't work... i called again and he said he would come up... 30 mins later i went down to the office and wouldn't leave untill the man came up with me... he determined the air conditioning was not working properly... Said the only other room available was one with a king bed only... said a repair man would be there at 7pm... 730 pm no repairman.... i called the office... said he would call the repairman again.... 830pm... I went down to the office yet again and the man puts us in a different room just like the one we had just non smoking and the air was working...

no more very cheap hotels
The live cockroach crawling on our towels in the bathroom ruined our stay. I got more frustrated when I reported it to the frontdesk and she replied, "what do you want me to do?" The carpet was extremely dirty.The kids walked barefoot and their soles turned black.

The room was clean, fridge, microwave, AC and TV all were fine. Two restaurants, one for breakfast and one for lunch/dinner were within walking distance. The pool was out of order, and if they would have mentioned that fact online, we would not have been expecting a pool, so would not have been disappointed. The hotel had a coin operated washer and dryer, which was a nice feature. We were participating in a three day program with Colonial Williamsburg, and we needed a clean, inexpensive room, to sleep in, which is what we had. If this is what you are looking for, and will entertain yourself at other venues, this is motel is a very good value. The pool was rather small even if it had been working. So, if you are looking for a hotel with some activities on site, like a workout room, gameroom, and full sized pool, then you need to spend more and go to a larger location.

it wuz ok had fun clubbin and room wuz close to err thang wouldnt stay they again tho for sum reason the da key and locks to the room didnt work very well glad i wuznt gettin chased took me bt 10mins to get get in my room after i left the club bt 4am very dangerous

The hotel was easily found and check in was quick. The free coffee was not available in the morning. If you just want a place to sleep this place will work out great for you. If you want to stay a few days, pay a little more and find a friendlier hotel that is clean and guest friendly.

If you are a history lover plan a few days in Williamsburg. We only stayed one night and 2 days and wished we could have stayed longer. Definetly check out the Chesapeak Bay Bridge.
