Perfect family vacation for 7 people!!!
We are a family of 7...5 girls ages from 7-17, so we look for activites to keep all of them busy and happy as possible. We went to VA Beach, Busch Gardens and Water Country. The hotel staff were extremly friendly and made the invironment family-friendly!! Helped with good places to eat and directions to those places. The discount to local pancake house was great and so was the service and food!! They also have a "kid's club" activities room that you can sign kids in and have some alone parent time!!

Great Location
Over the last 20 years I've stayed at this hotel several times. It's easy to see the place is going downhill. There's a lot of cosmetic damage that hasn't been repaired, included breakfast is almost non-existent. I stay there because of its location, right across the street from the historic area. Also noticed I'm paying about half what I use to per night.

Last visit to this location.
Annual Busch Gardens visit...Hotel was extremely dirty and I did not like the fact that they needed my credit card for "incidentals", what does that mean???? Bathroom was disgustingly dirty. I will not stay here again.

Location and Price was great
Hotel was clean but very outdated. Smelled musty. We has stayed here mamy times in the past. Great location to Williamsburg (walk across the street and you are there!) Staff was great. Just update it!

Pleasant stay, great location
I've been to Williamsburg several times throughout the years, always looking for a nice hotel, hopefully in walking distance to CW and a short drive to Busch Gardens. This was by far the closest and nicest for the money. I wasn't expecting a free breakfast, but it was in a comfortable location with the usual set up (Cook your own waffles & a nice assortment of muffins & bagels.) The staff was extremely pleasant & helpful! I will stay there again.

Wouldn't reccomend it
The staff at the hotel were very nice, this was the only thing you could say about it. The rooms were old, outdated, dirty & it was noisy because it was undergoing a much needed renovation. I have an idea that they are turning into a time share situation of some sort but don't know that for sure. The restaurants in the immediate vicinity were terrible & pricey. The only positive thing about the place was the proximity to Colonial Williamsburg. That was super, just a quick walk across the street. Again, the staff were all very nice & tried to be accomodating but there's only so far that's going to take you. This one was a big disappointment.

just walk across the street to Colonial Williamsburg, much easier than trying to find a parking spot over there.
