- It's one thing to have a 16,000 square foot conference center. It's another thing to have that center overlooking the historic James River. Great Place but Wrong room description by O R B I T Z
Great staff, amenities, food, and surroundings. However, we had specifically requested, and were issued confirmation for a room with two queen beds. The resort has No rooms with 2 queen beds. As such, we were provided a room with 2 full size beds, which made for cramped sleeping arrangements. A room with a king size bed would have been an upgrade, Mistake was not made by the hotel but by the online booking site that begins with O and ends with Z, and has a "rbit" in between.

Great Room...Great Resort
My family and I were looking for a nice place to spend a few days as we were attending a local wedding and couldn't have asked for a better location. The staff were very helpful, room service was prompt and the food good and the bed was exceptionally good.

Great hotel for the family
Nice pool and golf. Great for families but would dine elsewhere. Close to all Williamsburg has to offer.

Perfect Location and Wonderful Resort
The hotel was only 20 minutes from the airport, 12 minutes from Colonial Williamsburg and 7 minutes from Busch Gardens. It is also as close to Jamestown but we didn't get there this visit. The hotel was a luxury resort with many activities including water sports, an arcade and indoor outdoor pool. Breakfast buffet was WONDERFUL and inexpensive. I had too little time on a 3 night vacation to take advantage of all the hotel and WIlliamsburg had to offer and will definitely return.

Great breakfast buffet. Also speak to the concierge Art when you are there. He was incredibly helpful, informative and cordial. He really took very good care of us.

We arrived early, visited the site before going shopping, and a staff member suggested to leave our luggage there. We were able to check in, and left our phone # to be contacted when the room was ready. Upon receiving the call, we arrived to pick up the key, and our luggage was delived to our room. We were most surprised when we opened the door to find a room with a balcony in a woodsy setting on the James River. The decor was lovely and relaxing. The entire staff was most friendly, and made us feel instantly welcome

Just wonderful!
The Kingsmill Resort was beautiful, very clean, and the staff was just wonderful. It has been a long time since I have gone to a resort where they work so hard to make your stay enjoyable! They have a great fitness facility -- my daughters took the spin classes and loved them. There are lots of other activities offered too. The pool is beautiful. The restaurants and coffee cafe are very nice with a good selection. I don't know that I would give any hotel I have ever stayed at five stars but this one was close!

Nice resort, good location
We stayed for 3 nights, joined by our adult daughter and boyfriend. We got a great deal on the resort [...]and found the room was nicely and recently renovated and the staff was excellent. The location is great, the transportation to nearby attractions was free and flawless. Good for families not a romantic spot. Food was good and reasonably priced, great ice cream and breakfast buffet. The only I would change is charges for items like peddle boats, bicycles and the 9 hole par 3 course.

Colonial Williamsburg
while reviewing the site for places to stay we came across Kingsmill. We are so glad that we did. The resort is absolutely stunning. The main building has some shops, a taven, a restaraunt and absolutely beautiful views of the JAMES River. The resort has a wonderful spa, indoor pool with swim lap lane and hot tub and a huge outdoor pool. It also boasts indoor basketball and racquetball courts and a nicely equipped work out facility. The resort also has 15 tennis courts and best of all 3 amazing PGA/LPGA graded golf courses. If you have a boat; the resort also has a marina and will rent boats, jet skis and other water craft. You don't have to leave but with the sites around you can do the historical 3, Jamestown, Williamsburg and Yorktown and then come back and relax. Kingsmill is also less then 3 miles to Busch gardens. It honestly doesnt get any better. The houses around the resort are plentiful and the staff is responsive to your needs. It was a great time.
