Fantastic Getaway

Room had a damp smell to it.
Over all, the room and hotel served its purpose. But didn't have that WOW, relax away from home feel.

Loved it!
We really enjoyed our time together in the room. It was very quiet and clean. The privacy was great! It was within walking distance of several nice restaraunts and shops.

Good Place to Sleep
Quick, extremely friendly checkin. Parking was a little tight at 10 pm, but I found a spot quickly. Room was clean and quiet. Bathroom wasn't spotless, but wasn't unclean. Towels seemed to be brand new. The next morning, the free breakfast was fine. Would stay here again.

Good, moderate hotel
PROS: The hotel is in a convenient location, close to the major attractions. The staff is friendly and responsive. The rooms are clean. CONS: The blackout curtains wouldn't close completely, letting street light and sunlight into the room. The continental breakfast options are bland. The doors and walls are thin.

Great value for the money.
The fairfield more than met our expections for our 3 night stay in Williamsburg. Very convenient to the parks, shopping and restaurants. The room with the separate living room area was a nice extra. i must also commend them on their continental breakfast which was very, very good.For the value it is an excellant choice. i have stayed in more expensive places that did not satisfy us like the Fairfield did.

Good Location
The room was of average size and offered nothing special. I had to contact the front desk to get some bathroom amenities that were not provided. The air conditioner fan only worked on the high speed, so the room was very noisy. The internet cable in the room did not work, so I contacted the front desk and they referred me to a separate company to call. The issue was resolved within an hour. The hotel offered a breakfast buffet with many options - make your own belgian waffles, sausage biscuits, cereal, and fruit. However it was very crowded, so a lot of time was spent waiting to use the appliances. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful in locating close-by restaurants. Parking by the hotel was very limited and on my second night's stay, I ended up having to park in another hotel's parking lot.
