Very convenient and affordable

I have stayed here several times because of its convenient location and affordability. The rooms are spacious and clean. The only complaint I had for this last stay was that a couple of the lamps did not work. The breakfast the hotel provides has a lot of choices and is a good value considering that it's complimentary.

Sightseeing tip: Long walk from hotel

The hotel is right next to the William and Mary campus, which itself abuts Colonial Williamsburg. It's a beautiful place.

Very family friendly and clean.

The motel had plenty of free parking and check in was efficient. The room was large and clean and well-maintained, although older. There was in the room coffee and tea, 2 luggage racks, small table with 2 chairs, newer TV, and good reading illumination. The location is quite nice, an older historic district of Williamsburg and only about a block from William and Mary College. There was nearby mall with groceries and pharmacy, dining and about 1.5 miles from upscale shopping and historic Williamsburg attractions. The swimming pool is large and clean.

Concerning the cleaneness

The refrigerator was not clean & had food from the previous client. So the management needs a better control on the employees work.

Exactly What We Were Looking For

Excellent location...within walking distance to local downtown shops, college campus, and places to eat. Small driving distance, (10 miles or less) to all attractions in Williamsburg we were interested in seeing! Very pleased!!

Close and inexpensive

The price of the room was good and it was close to the event I was involved in -- also close to the Jamestown Settlement, William and Mary, and places to eat. The room itself left a few things to be desired. It smelled odd and the bathroom looked like it had been shoddily remodeled. (The sink was held up by a couple of wooden planks and the toilet was awkwradly close to the bathtub). But the hotel had a pool, a patio, and friendly staff. They let us check out a little late and answered our questions in a very helpful way.

Good Value

Our stay went pretty well. The hotel is located on the very end of the strip which makes shopping a cinch since you are just down the road from everything. Busch Gardens and Water Country are about 15min. away depending on traffic. The room was clean however, this was this REALLY strange smell the entire length of the hallway (it smelled very musty). The continental breakfast was fantastic. You must try their chocolate muffins! This hotel was very good for the price. Its nothing too spectacular, but it's not that bad either.

Entertainment tip: Short drive from hotel

The Ripley's Believe or Not museum and 3D show is just about 4 minutes down the road. It is def. worth a look! The Yankee Candle factory is also down the road and it is HUGE!!

Bedbugs in the rooms

10 minutes after our son went to sleep, he woke up and called us, saying that there was a bug on his neck. It was brown, small and flat and looked exactly like the bedbug in wikipedia. We packed up immediately and moved out.
