Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Williamsburg East, (Busch Gardens Area), VA

Very nice. Clean, nicely decorated rooms, decent price. Frendly and helpful staff.

We were disappointed over the uncomfortable beds. We had requested a room in the back but that was not honored. We were awoken quite a few times by alot of traffic noice and the train. The phone cord kept coming out of the phone so we lost quite a few calls and had to keeping calling people back. This was annoying because we had quite a few local restaurant and shopping calls to make. Another inconvience was that the TV channels did not match up with what was in their hotel book & the people at the desk couldn't help me at all RE: the channels. They could not even tell me what channel the TV listings were on. We spent more time in the hotel since it was raining this week-end. No "movie " channels or on-demand was available. . The "continental" breakfast was a joke. The eggs were horrible & cold, and the bacon/sausage were worse because they were cold & GREASY; the potatoes were nasty , mushy with no flavor. You could tell that on Monday morning - they were left over from the week-end.. The juice & coffe were good, The waffles were good and hot. The fruit was ok. I was also disappointed that there were no USA Today - they were gone by 7:00AM. The staff was extremely nice and as helpful as they could be. The best thing consisted of how close to Buisch Gardens/Water County that this hotel was. It was also close to many restaurants that we enjoyed.

The room was such a treat! The room was large and comfortable, nice super soft bed and pillows, plenty of extra pillows as well, the staff was sweet and extremely helpful. The hotel provides a care package with maps to the local historical sites, as well as a listing of resturants and shops. We truly enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. If I had to pick something: the bathroom smelled like mildew (ours did not have a fan). The bathroom was clean, but could use a really good cleaning. You could also see the age and wear throughout the room and hotel.

The hotel is located convenient to both Water Country USA and Busch Gardens. There is not much as far as eating other than Sammys Waffles and Pancakes in the parking lot. I would get a hotel on Richmond Rd next time due to it is not much father and there is more shopping and resterants. Also the Country Inn and Suits is located across from the Railroad tracks were Amtrack and freight RR comes through about 4-5 times a night. Hotel is clean and service was excellent. If the could move the location it would be 5 star. Pool was nice and rooms were very clean. Price is perfect and train did not keep me up but I heard them coming through. 3 stars for me.

The lobby was attractive and there was a very good breakfast. The room was clean but the whole place was pretty outdated.

Very friendly staff. clean room and easy parking. Short drive to many nearby restuarants (1-2 miles). I'll stay here again

Room was very clean, breakfast as expected and adequate, and staff very friendly and helpful. Overall would stay there again without hesitation.

The hotel was family friendly. All staff were extremely nice. We had one minor issue in our room but was literally fixed within minutes of reporting it. The rooms were clean, and nice. We had a suite which was affordable and ideal with children. Books and DVDs were also available in the lobby and that was a nice touch. We would definitely stay again in the future.

Close to all attractions Colonial Williamsburg & Busch Gardens,Zable Stadium.

This is a clean, well-run hotel located between Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. A small welcome bag is presented on arrival. The room was spacious, well-soundproofed and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was ample but wasn't anything "to write home about".
