first room dirty, miserable

initial room smelled of cat urine with a soaked carpet near the sink, hairs on bed when turned down without any clean sheets available- upgraded to a much nicer newer room the next day. breakfast area is poorly laid out with a 20+person queue for waffles and very limited seating. Chaos and noise in a small room. Indoor pool was nice, but you have to walk outside to get there- cold in 40-50 degree weather this time of year.

Indoor Pool/Breakfast

Hotel was nice. Had to go outside to get to indoor pool and Breakfast. Indoor pool does not mean heated pool. Close to everything. Nice staff. Great value at what we paid but would hve been upset if we had paid more.

December getaway

We wanted a hotel centrally located to Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens to attend Christmas activities in both locations. The price and location of this hotel fit our requirements. Issues encountered: To access the free WiFi you needed to disable your anti-virus software. Poor design layout: to access the indoor pool and breakfast room you had to go outside; Breakfast room also cramped and hard to find. Food was adequate. Took staff over an hour to deal with a disturbingly rowdy group that began at midnight on Friday.

Handles problems

Our first room had a bad odor due to the air conditioner or heater that smelled like something burning. When I reported it, we got a new clean room with no odors. I would stay in this hotel again. Staff was excellent.

family hotel

The hotel was good. I wish, however, that the hotel had included a refrigerator and microwave, especially considering we were dealing with 100 degree temperatures every day. I might consider going back, but first, I would look for another hotel that had these two things, I think.

DO NOT EAT at Mama Steve's Pancake House. We found ants climbing up the walls and on the packets of jellies next to the wall. YUCK!

Be Careful Here

While I was staying in this hotel, someone stole an iPod from my luggage while it was locked in my romm. At no time did I leave the room unlocked or the door ajar. I visit Williamsburg on business every month, but will never again stay at this hotel.

The room was clean. The atmosphere was quiet. The outdoor pool was a pleasant experience. I will use this place again.
