Clarion Inn & Suites

The staff was so nice. You can't beat the location. Room was some dated but clean & we slept all night in comfort. It seemed to be an older hotel but it has been kept up . The only thing I didn't care for was that you have to pay extra $10.00 per day for Micro Frig & Microwave. We plan on staying there again. Room rates are good.

Everything was good the room was nice and clean. It was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast wasn't very good but there are lots of local pancake places to go to.

Great location on Richmond Road, close to Williamsburg. Easy easy easy. Room was great with nice sheets, good mattress, and 8 pillows on King bed. TV had some movies. I felt safe. GREAT value!!!!! AND....the great Mexican restaurant next door was just a 1 min. walk away! I would definitely stay here again. QUIET!!!!!

It is a great deal in Williamsburg but found that with a little TLC would have been much better - especially scrubbing the bathroom floors and wanescot which looked like it had been damp mopped at best. Same with the carpet. With these improvements I would have given it two more stars. Those problems really detracted from the nice furniture, new bath fixtures and nice linens.

My mistake. This is not a three star. This is the first time we didn't enjoy the hotel. There is a train that runs through the night and shakes the room. Rooms were dirty. When we went to check in no one was there and I waited 20 minutes for someone to show up. The maids started banging on the door at 8:30am to clean. They knocked three times between 8:30 and 10:30 when we left, and checkout was at 11!!!! We will never ever stay again.

My grandson attended Top Gun Football camp. The motel is convienient to the Warhill Sports complex, shopping and eating places. It is a bi trun down. does not have enough room refrigerators and mmicrowaves and is well worn. Over a 4 night period I had to go to the desk for bath towels as the cleaning people were negligent. All the folks working there were most pleasant. The complmentary breakfast, toast, cereal, eggs. pancakes rice and sausage was fresh and hot, but the menu was the same. I would stay their again because of the location.

Very friendly staff who work hard to help their customers. The rooms were typical but the staff made it worth while.

Before arriving the description of the room read two twin beds with room divider poolside. I requested that the room be non-smoking because of allergies to smoke. When we arrived there, we were not assigned a room. The staff went and looked for one that was available. During our wait we were given a presentation for a Resort and when the finally found our room gave us our keys. We went to the room and it was full of smoke. I immediately went back to the front and the receptionist started to look for another room to accommodate us when she told us that they were overbooked and could not offer us anything. Another receptionist came to the front and told us that she thought there was one more room available and went to be sure it was clean. I was thankful that she did. But when we got to the room, it too was full of smoke. So I went to the supermarket and bought 2 plugins. We left the room and came back about 2 hours later. But the smoke was too powerful. And that was the problem with the hotel. On the positive side, Close to shopping, close to all restaurants and close to Busch Gardens. And good breakfast.

My husband and I traveled to Williamsburg for a friend's wedding. When we arrived, the receptionist had the personality of a bear. She was not friendly at all. We then preceded to our room because we only had a little over an hour to get ready. Our room was on the 3rd floor so we took the elevator. We walked onto the elevator and immediately noticed the dirty appearance of the elevator..not to mention the smell. I've been in barns that have smelled better. We get to our room and we were given a smoking room after we had reserved a non-smoking room. Unfortunately, due to the time, we sucked it up and just got ready for the wedding. As I was trying to get in the shower, I noticed that there were no towels. My husband had to track down an employee for some towels. We also had friends stay at this same hotel for the same reason and their experience was not satisfactory either. I've stayed at other hotels that were way nicer and cheaper than this hotel.

The room was in horrible shape, well overdue an upgrade. The elevator smelled like a petting zoo. Breakfast was ok. They didn't replenish our coffee in our room. Not what I expected for a hotel in Williamsburg VA.
