Americas Best Value Inn

The staff was friendly whenever I was greeted. I did not like the fact that breakfast was over at 9:00. I like to sleep in on vacation. If all you go to a hotel for is to sleep this place is okay. If you want the hotel to provide you with any entertainment or anything I would suggest someplace else. There are a lot of restaurants close by.

Room was spacious and comfortable. There was no refrigerator and the ice machine was broke on our floor which was a little inconvenient. But location to great restaurants and Historic Williamsburg was perfect. Continental breakfast needs a big improvement.

This hotel was cheap, clean and in a great location. The staff were pleasant and helpful,the room was spacious, and breakfast is included. I would recommend it to others and plan on staying again if I am in the area.

I guess since it was a holiday weekend certain front desk employees felt they can say and do anything. Ms. Linda at the front desk decided to change my 2 double bed reservations to a queen with a roll away bed in a handicap room. This bulky bed prevented us from closing the bathroom door. The toilet was leaky and the shower had no pressure. The TV had no remote control and no HBO as advertised. Thank goodness Busch Gardens was down the road.

Room was very clean. Sofa bed was nice addition. Swimming pool was clean and well maintained. Breakfast room was large and staff did great job of tending the food Only complaint was very noisy fan in bathroom when light was on.

We booked this room for a couple of days for a trip to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg VA. When we arrived the beds had filthy stained sheets. We asked for new ones. The next three sets were also stained and cut up before we had acceptable sheets. We complained and also heard other customers complain to the front desk. [...] if you beside to stay here anyway, I highly recommend that you bring your own sheets.

The location is convenient, but the motel is a dump! Room was filthy. Mold growing in shower, sink counter falling apart, and the most autrocious smell. Smelled like a mix of cigs (non smoking) and mildew. I wasn't sure they did maid service, but I saw her making beds with a cig hanging out of her mouth. Beds were lumpy and hard. Door didn't close without slamming into it. The worst riff raft around - lot of live-in residents who smoke and BBQ around your front door. [*] floating in pool. Just gross!

The lady at the desk was the only positive thing. we get there and they put us in a smoke smelling handicap room. we change rooms and they then put us in a still smoke smelling double. there were (excuse the term) [*]everywhere and others who had their dogs tied up right out side our room who of course left presents all over the place. Then I find some of the biggest roaches I have seen and I grew up in Brazil. So I go to the desk to cancel and she ask why and I gave her the reasons above. When I get back to my room to pack up and leave the man with the dogs comes over and swears me out saying he lives there! So if you like to have neighbors like that in a roach infested room then this is the place for you! Oh by the way this is the first time I have ever written a review (this is how bad it was).

Motel exterior could have used attention. Front desk staff was nice enough. Room was just a room...clean but dated...bed was OK...towels were small and rough. We had to exchange TV remote and had kids playing/skating outside our door after 10PM. Didn't try the free breakfast or the pool area. Will probably try something a little nicer next stay in the area.
