Best value
Ocean front room very nice, even though it was under renovation it was still comfortable . Breakfast was plentiful . Teenagers running rampant in the halls should have been better supervised.

great location
Took my three year old son down for his first beach experience. He loved the view from the balcony. And the indoor kiddie pool was a big hit. I will defitnely be back. Can't wait to see how the remodel will look.

Disappointing family adventure
Reservation to this hotel was booked based on pictures viewed on line. Upon check-in there was construction work in the front lobby area as well as other parts of hotel. Game room was under construction as well. Took an very upset attitude before anyone came to look at phone in room, (which was not working), or to fix hair dryer that was not working as well. Was very displeased with this stay.

Captain George was best thing about whole trip. Food was alittle expensive but well worth the price and service was well above average.

Great Hotel!
The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel was very nice with updated rooms. I stayed in the oceanfront room and loved having a balcony view of the beach! The hotel is under construction but it doesn't hinder anything about the quality of the hotel. The heated indoor pool was great since the weather wasn't exactly perfect when I stayed. Also, the hot waffle breakfast is fantastic! Location is perfect.. steps from the beach..in the center of all the shopping.. and the private guest parking was perfect!

The VA Aquarium and Marine Science Center is a must see. It is located right down the street from the Sandcastle hotel.

Family getaway
I enjoyed myself at this hotel, the only problem i had was that i ordered a roll-away bed and never received it. T he front desk said they were going to bring it up but never did. And the Breakfast Bar, they just need to refresh the food on a daily bases.

Four sisters getaway
Our stay was pleasant, the staff was polite and very helpful. The room we had was a Oceanside, with two double beds. The room was to small, with four people and our suitcases it was very cramped. Will not do the same type of room, need to get a larger room or a different hotel. It rained three of the five days. But we shopped, ate, had two days at the beach had a great time. They were also doing improvements at the hotel.

There is alot of shopping within walking distance. Went to LynnHaven Mall to a movie, the Hotel staff gave us directions, had no problems.(had to drive to the Mall 10 minute drive).

Excellent View
Not a new fancy hotel but it is well maintained. Comforter beds, small bath area. Great view of the ocean, the pier and right next to a small amusement park. Decent continential breakfast...make you own waffles. Needs a coffee pot in the room.

Great staff, good beachfront location
The room was small but clean, bathroom small but clean. The staff was great - from check in to the cleaning staff to checkout - courteous, very helpful & great service. Great beachfront location, convenient to the Pier & the strip shopping & restaurants. Easy to park, easy to get to from the Interstate. Overall a good experience & I would stay there again.

The Lighthouse just South on the Boardwalk - great service, good food & very friendly staff - will go out of their way for a good experience for you.
