Perfect family vacation
The hotel was everything the reviews and website said it was...amazing! The location was superb, right on the beach with breathtaking views. Our room had a large balcony, a patio really, that overlooked the beach and boardwalk. The full kitchen was great. The bedroom was beautiful with ocean views. The room was large, clean, and well maintained. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast every morning, free valet parking, walking distance to everything. Very family oriented. I can't say enough about our stay at the Residence Inn on Virginia Beach. Great time, great weather, great place. Would absolutely recommend this hotel and stay here again.

OK STAY
We enjoyed our stay,the staff was great and the Inn is very clean. On the down side, parking is a nightmare-they offer valet, but that's a hassle. The room was clean, but small. The balcony is tiny and the return air blew hot air on us while we were on the balcony. The ad states full kitchen, but there isn't an oven. The couch was wore and smelly. The mattress was ok, but really needs to be replaced. We had a great time in Virginia, but will look for a more updated condo next time.

Short walk from hotel
North End Pizza is fantastic if you like thin crust pizza. I shopped at a store called "Gift Shop" across the street from Residence Inn. It was great. The owner was so helpful and friendly.

Great Visit!
We traveled with our small dog for our 22nd Anniversary. Great view! Just the right size room. Very Friendly service. Breakfast buffet was average. The perfect location at 33rd st.

Absolutely a great place
everything was great. The room was very clean but most impressive was how nice "everyone" was there. Everyone we met always ask how we were and if there was anything they could do. The breakfast buffet too was wonderful.

Very good service
There was a fire at the hotel and the quickly booked us into a diffent Marriot for the first night not far from the beach and then found us a room on the beach at a Marriot for the rest of our trip. They were wonderful.

Friendliest Staff Ever
The staff is great. Dogs galore yet the place is spotless! If you don't like dogs, don't stay here, if you do like them...you'll love it. Right on the beach and it's beautiful.

perfect for families!
The staff was friendly and helpful. The free hot breakfast was wonderful. This was a perfect choice for a family of four! The only drawback was that the place allows dogs which was not to my liking.
