Family Visit

The room was clean and comfortable for the time we stayed there. It was close to the airport, naval base and places to go to eat. We did not have very far to drive to visit our family.

Great Stay for CHEAP!

Front desk people are great. Indians are very good at running hotels. Both times I've stayed they have been very cordial and funny. Rooms are clean. All local basic cable channels. Great water pressure in the showers. Very quiet! And even donuts, coffee and juice in the morning!

Definitely recommend!!!

Clean, affordable and a short drive from the beach, this hotel was just fantastic for the price! My only negative comment is about the housekeeping staff. We were staying for 2 days, and after the drive from PA and the late night excitement of the first night at the beach we were exhausted! Around 11:00am housekeeping knocked, but we were too physically exhausted to respond...they kept knocking and opening the door (thank god I'd thrown the deadbolt the night before, they could only open it a crack!) until I was fully awake. My friend was still asleep so I didn't want to let them in, but they persisted with the knocking and door opening, at one point I saw them stick a pencil into the barely open door to try to flip the deadbolt latch!!! I grabbed the pencil and opened the door, and a surprised housekeeping staffer simply stated "you're checking out today?" To which I replied, "No, tomorrow, and thanks for waking me up!" Other than this one incident, I was extremely impressed with the hotel, and will definitely stay there again!!!

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

If you leave the hotel and turn right, signs for Shore Drive appear within minutes, and following Shore Drive will take you right to the beach, boardwalk, and just a ton of shopping and fine dining places right along the strip! Returning to the hotel was as easy as just reversing these directions!

upset

When we arrived, we were told that no handicap rooms were available, as one company reserved them all. After some seaching [...], behind the desk found one, which upon review was satisfactory. However, because it had a KING bed we were charged $20 per nite more ($40). Your reservation specified disabled accessible.

Economy but not best

The airconditionar, micro wave are old. No Iron Box to press the dress. When asked in front desk, they told me to pick up from them. They publish free breakfast, but only donuts were there. Coffee was excellent, they had verity of coffees. Rooms were not locking properly, their locks were old.

Cheasapeake Bay bridge is close by, best place to stay if you want to see only this bridge, but far away from beaches.

July 18, 2010 Visit to Virginia Beacn

It was our first time visit to Virginia Beach and wanted to stay close to the beach, however, didn't want to pay the higher rate. This hotel was excellent for what we wanted. The family decided on our visit to Washington, DC to include a trip to the beach which was only 3 hours away. The hotel was more than sufficient, however, everyone commented that the towels were thin and rough. We'll plan another trip to Virginia Beach in 2 years and would consider this hotel for our accomodations.
