Quality Inn & Suites Oceanfront

Great location, rooms were clean and very nice. Great view of ocean from room too. Biggest surprise was the hotel restaurant...it was AWESOME. I travelled for business for many years and most hotel restaurants are overpriced and subpar. This one had wonderful food and good prices! Front desk and all hotel staff were very nice and helpful. I'm already planning my next trip and will be staying at this hotel again!

Generally, the Hotel location was good, however, the building position is not in the way to view the ocean rightaway.. moreover, when you open the windows especially in our floor(which was the fifth) there was always noises come from the Hotel AC system which was really bothering. the Hotel personnel were good and friendly...

Where do I begin to describe my disgust with this hotel? Traveling with two teenagers only to find flies at front desk, room was not ready, parking across the street and every direction I looked in was packed with people. Room was: hot, smelly, dirty, hairdryer sparked and quit working, clean bath towels stored IN shower! I actually cried after entering this room. Maybe my expectations were too high.

The reservations with [...]was completely out of place. First, we requested non-smoking rooms but was given one and three non smoking. Secondly, we requested for rooms with suites and none of the rooms were with suites. We travelled with three different families : one family of four, another family of five and third family of six. Everybody was totally disatisfied following the amount we paid, the inconveniences and misinformation from [...]staff that did the booking. Moreso, two of the rooms never had high speed internet as stated on the paper.

This is a great hotel, beach front, great pool area. Our room was ready when we arrived Friday at 10:00 a.m. and they let us check in. Chix Cafe is right next door...We had their Blackened Tuna Bites every day for lunch with steamed shrimp...YUMMY. They have a lovely young lady serving the pool with cold drinks and food. We stayed their last year and this was our second trip. We will be staying there again in the near future. Shopping and eating establishments are withing waling distance. GREAT OCEAN VIEW!

The hotel was clean and the housekeeping staff were friendly. The front desk staff weren't so friendly. [...] The indoor pool was across the street and was small but clean. The rooms were small but nice and had a good view of the ocean and the beds were comfy. There are bike/skate rentals right at the hotel. The breakfast was good and lots of choices were provided.

Best feature of the Quality Inn Oceanfront is the location and the pool! The pool is located on the walkway / boardwalk so you sit at the pool and still have an ocean view. The ocean being just steps away. And the location is in the middle of the best area of the walkway / boardwalk area. Always something happening and entertainment and happy hours surround. Great experience.

I loved staying here! Clean and quiet and an all around pleasant experience!

The hotel is located right in the middle of restaurants and activities but had to call the front desk to get room made and it was not complete, there was no AC in the hallways, rooms were old and dated. The hotel did provide a snack at 3pm and the snow cones were just the thing to beat the heat. Also on Saturday, the AC was out for about 7 hours which really heated up the rooms, which could not be cooled enough as it was.

Pros: Location, the bed felt great, free internet without hassles or time limits, morning paper, nice breakfast buffet, very friendly staff, quick check-in and check-out, about 30 feet from the beach. Cons: Intermittently operating air condition (100+ degrees outside), cruise ship size room, very hot elevator, slow elevator, room door stuck (had to turn knob then kick the bottom to open), and a little pricey for the room taking the above notes into consideration. Overall, I'd go there again with a pocket size WD-40 and test the AC before moving into the room. :)
