Motel 6 Virginia Beach VA

The only positive thing about this motel was that it was only about 10 mins from the beach. The room was dirty, carpets were not vacuumed. There were actually cheerios on the floor. We did not have cheerios. The lamp was broken. The TV had lines going through the picture. They only gave us 2 towels for 4 people. The beds had one pillow per person and when we asked for a few more we were told they did not have any. Some of the towels had brown stains on them. What they listed for amenities were a heated room, a remote for the TV and locking doors! Only some rooms had a fridge.... Ours was not one of them. If you want to be cheap and plan to stay out of the room the majority of the time this place is ok. If you want to be comfortable and in a clean room with actual amenities spend the extra money and go somewhere else.

This hotel was much cheaper than anything else I could find but... there was no comforter on the bed, the A/C was noisey and the towels did not look clean. The room also had a funny smell to it. It did not look dirty but it seemed like they were trying to cover somethig up.

We had to wait to check in @ 5:00 pm, the hotel is cash only, the room was dirty, the blankets had cigarette burns in a no smoking room, the tv was broken & the bathtub was so dirty we complaint and all they did was change the sheets & gave us a remote for tv since that's the only way it worked

It is what it is. Pool area clean and neat. Vending machines and tables in area off lobby for breakfast and snacks. Front desk staff could be more courteous and friendly. Often felt like I was interrupting them when I checked in.

We were put in a room that was under renovation. Absolutely no linens whatsoever, tub was filthy, dirty sponge in the sink and garbage in all of the trashcans. After a very long wait, we were put in another room [...]. I will never stay in this hotel chain again [...]

The rooms were freezing. They bedding didnt match and there was no comforter on the beds. I would recommend you bring your own blankets!! Other than that i was an ok place to rest your head for the price and location.

we wont stay there any more we are afraid of the crime in the area

My previous trips were a lot better at this particular location the staff wasn't very friendly and the room was not cleaned properly.

For the price it was right. Nice pool and building was larger than I thought. We spent 2 nights and basically just slept and showered in the room. Close to the mall and many nice places to eat. Smokey Bones is good stuff ! There were some strange smells, i think it was the trash cans.

When we arrived, we learned that our reservation had been cancelled. Apparently someone else called and cancelled their reservation but our reservation was the one that got cancelled. The rooms were dirty, stained blankets and sheets, smelled of smoke covered with cleaning product.
