Not happy with room conditions
Stayed Sunday thru Wednesday.Room was never cleaned.Housekeeping never called.Front desk offered to clean room after we complained about room cleanliness after 5PM.

Weekend at Virginia Beach - March 2012
Staff was friendly and helpful, and they had some difficult cheerleading parents to deal with! Complimentary breakfast was average, with some stuff just out and not replenished the last half hour of the breakfast period. Location, view, etc. right on the beach were amazing.

Beautiful Rose
Good get away for couples in rush
Last minute booking with late check in seems a waste when you check out the next day. But our stay became memorable when we saw a lot of dolphins early in the morning looking out from our ocean front balcony. That's priceless. We also have hot breakfast buffet. We were seating facing the ocean where you could see dolphins jumping back and forth from the distance. Even for a short time. we enjoyed our stay.

One-week vacation
We arrived the day after hurricane Irene had hit VA Beach so the carpet by the sliding glass door was wet. It did dry by the next day so it was no big deal. The beds were very comfy. I would've preferred to stay on the 3rd floor (view of the board walk and palm tree in front of room) as we did last year, but the 10th floor view was also excellent. The breakfast buffet was better last year though. My husband and I are vegetarian and they mostly had bacon, eggs, sausage, milk, etc. so we had to go out and buy a gallon of soy milk for our cereal and ate a lot of pancakes and bagels. The pool and hot tub also looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a few days so sadly we only went in on our first day and stayed at the beach the rest of the days. Though there are a couple things we believe could be better we would stay there again.

Take vacation in late August when the weather is typically 83/73 degrees (Hi/Lo) and stores are selling summer/beach items at at least 50% off. Woohoo.

Weekend at the beach
We have stayed at this hotel in the past and had been pleased with our stay so we thought we would stay again. Although the hotel was adequate it was missing that extra attention to detail. The staff were polite, but only in a "it's my job" kind of way. The housekeeping left a lot to be desired, too many things to name. The price was reasonable but I wish I had paid the extra to stay somewhere else

Great New Years
Hotel was nice, clean, and very reasonable. Front Desk Clerk was nice as well. Room was nice and clean, balcony glass was dirty, but didnt matter to us. Toilet did not flush correctly at times, as it has a high pressure tank in place of the usual flapper. Balcony chairs were dirty from blowing sand, but is to be expected on a beach!

Sal's Pizza: Placed order with young lady at 7:53, said it would be roughly an hour for delivery, which was fine as it was new years. An hour and half later, no food. Called back, lady argued with me that we had not placed the order. Called Bella Pizza II, gentleman answered the phone and was very fluent with his menu and knew what to ask and how we wanted our food. Recieved food in 30 minutes! Was more than we could eat with outstanding flavor!

Breakfast was awesome!!!!!!!
The only thing I can complain about was the parking. Had to park down the road and go get the car in the rain :(.. The breakfast made up for it though!! I have never stayed at a hotel that served a full breakfast for free!!!
