Bad services
Booked hotel a week in advance. Asked for non-smoking room. Advertisement said check-in time was 3:00 p.m. Arrived at hotel at 3:10. Room was not ready until 4:30 p.m. Room was a smoking room, housekeeper sprayed Lysol to supposedly remove cigarette smell. When checking out, asked clerk for change to leave housekeeping staff a tip, but clerk had no change. Will not stay there again. Gave one star since hotel did accomodate pets.

Party trip
me and my sister wanted to party at va beach do we needed a room cheap and quick. The room smelled funny like old Virginia slims but it worked. Freezer for the alcohol, showers were clean, but it wasn't amazing. I literally stayed in the room for a total of 4 hours so I just needed the shower honestly

The hotel was good. Was not happy they put me on room with smoke odor. Finaly they tranferred me to new room. But overall was good for couple of days

I will stay here again.
Went to Virginia beach for a birthday party. This was my second stay at ESA. Rooms are clean. I was only in the room during the nights. It was quiet.

Could have been better
I was between apartments and needed a temporary place to stay. It was comfortable and the staff was friendly. The only issues I had were that I asked for a smoking room and didn't get one. I also requested a handicapped room or something on the first floor because I have nerve damage in my legs and feet and have problems with stairs. They ended up putting me on the second floor and there is no elevator.

room was fine except for in the morning the workers staying there leaving not being respectful hotel needs updates but was clean need more pillows in room first room they put me in had not been cleaned at all towels every where but i went down to the lobby and she changed my room with no problem

Great Value
Was easy check in Afternoon check in staff was blahhh night time emerg staff was nice and helpful had my jacket stolen at a bar and the key was in pocket had to wake up a staff member who let me in at 3 am and she was very nice check out was extended and easy

good deal for the $
it is about 10 min from the beach front and everything else, but if you are on a budget it is worth it. the hotel has a fridge, microwave, and stove but no oven. the t.v. is small.
