Wonderful Motel
Wonderful hotel, clean, quiet, great pool on the second floor which is where our room was located. Decent free breakfast, free AM newspaper and short walk to the beach. Saved many bucks by not being directly on the beach. Will stay here again! Best hotel for the bucks we have seen at VA Beach.

Don't miss the buffet at Fish Bones. Sat outside and ate our fill of Crab Legs. Also, fireworks on Sunday and Thursday at the Pier.

OK for the price
The hotel is OK for the money. Nothing fancy, but a convenient place to stay for a reasonable vacation. The room was clean; a little run down, but sufficiant for a good nights sleep. The beds were very comfortable and that is a plus for someone with back issues. The bathroom was extremely small for a large person. The pool was very nice and appeared to be quite clean. However; we were disappointed with the hot tubs. None of the jets worked, taking away from the purpose of them. The most frustrating part was the "deluxe" continental breakfast...It was very basic and unbearably hot in the dining area. So hot, we didn't even eat there. The location was amazing and convenient to everything. If walking is an issue, take advantage of the "wave" bus service for only $2.00 for the entire day. It makes numerous stops along Atlantic Ave...Be sure to seek out the street corner entertainment. There are some extremely talented performers along the strip.

ManCation
Easy to find. We had a good clean room near the pool. Food was walking distance and the oceanfront was less than a 5 minute walk across the street. No problems or issues.

Enjoyed my time!
this hotel was across the street from the beach, which was great. It was close to area attractions and very easy to find. The pool was pretty cold, but very nice. Also, breakfast was yummy! I do have some complaints. The floor was nasty. My 1 yr old had black legs and feet from crawling around the room. Also, the Internet really sucked. It was very slow and kept going out. We also didn't have water one day for 2 hours. Not really sure what was up with that. The ac, while it did work, didn't work as well as you'd like.

Ehh.....
The hotel was close enough to the beach without having to pay the high price for an oceanfront hotel. We could see the beach from our balcony, which was nice. Downsides were that the ac didnt work very well, the bed was very very soft (which we did not like), and the hotel is located more towards the end of the strip so you either are walking quite far or paying for parking at the other end of the strip. All in all its a no-frills room and just fine if you're planning on just sleeping there.

Great time In Virginia Beach!
The weather was great so we didn't spend much time in the room. The room was clean and comfortable - everything we expected. The gym was less than adequate but the boardwalk was right across the street so we opted to run there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. One word of caution - don't stay in the second floor rooms with the pool side balcony unless you want easy access to the pool. Your patio door will open right into the pool area. We were given this room when we checked in and asked to be moved. We were given another room right away with absolutely no hassle. We will stay here again.

Great bar scene at the Hilton. Take the trolley bus instead of walking all day pass for the bus is only $2 per person.
